According to Radio 1 Professor Green's Read All About It is a re-entry at #38 when it should be Emeli Sande's version. Radio 1 FAIL

Man Who Can't Be Moved at #36, we really don't need this back again :drama:

101k for Robin Thicke :o

And thanks Griff for doing the update.

Olly one place higher than i expected, and how happy i would be if Monsters and Men can stay top 15 or even better and re-enter the top 10.

Rod Stewart is holding up ever so well in the album chart which i am very pleased with, it wasnt a simple fluke of a number 1 now as it has decent sales to back it up.

If it holds up Paramore should be at least #12 as it will probably pass both Of Monsters and Men and Demi Lovato.
I think I've done everything now, thanks for your patience, next week will be more smoother.
Emeli Sande back in the top 10 albums...

Griff, you've missed out Daniel Merriweather and Ellie Goulding re-entering at #18 and #34 respectively. I wish Radio 1 would stop marking re-entries as 'down'. (Bruno Mars [WIWYM] is also up 1 place to #24).

Yay for Olly, Of Monsters And Men, Paramore, Daniel, Ellie and The Script :D Hope Ellie and The Script can hold onto top 40, I could see The Script being put back to 99p and dropping out though and Ellie could start plummeting pretty soon. 'Little Talks' looks like it'll get close to re-peaking, maybe it will go back to #12 again like 'I Will Wait'.

Also missing from the albums update: Jake Bugg  #16, Olly Murs  #24, Paramore  #27 (get that longevity *.*), Taylor Swift :re: #33, Of Monsters And Men :re: #34 (:D), The Lumineers  #35, Ben Howard :re: #36 (:D)

Midweek Charts: Radio 1 event lifts Mars

Source: MW

by Paul Willams

Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox is racing back into the UK Top 10 following his televised performance at Radio 1's Big Weekend event.

The Atlantic artist is one of a number of acts to see a surge in retail demand after featuring at the BBC station's three-day festival over the Bank Holiday weekend in Londonderry. The event was televised over the weekend on TV by BBC 3 as well as featuring on Radio 1, 1 Xtra, the BBC Red Button and online.

Following his headline closing set last Sunday sales of Mars' second album have lifted 171% on the week to lift it 16-4 on the midweeks, according to the Official Charts Company.

Also looking like they may return to the Top 10 are Virgin act Bastille who played the 1 Xtra Arena/In New Music We Trust stage on the Sunday and whose album Bad Blood has enjoyed a 36% sales lift in the week so far as a result to send it 13-8. They could be joined in the 10 by Polydor's Ellie Goulding whose Main Stage appearance on the Saturday plus a Britain's Got Talent performance has helped Halycon climb 38-10 with sales leaping 340%.

Other Big Weekend retail winners include Rudimental whose Asylum/Atlantic album Home increases sales by 6% to hold it at 6 in the midweeks, Jake Bugg whose self-titled Mercury album climbs 23-16 with sales up 57%, Calvin Harris with his Columbia-issued 18 Months progressing 20-18 with sales improving 15%, Epic act Olly Murs enjoying a 69% sales lift and 25-24 climb with Right Place Right Time, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with sales increasing 15% of The Heist on the Macklemore label to hold at 32 and The Script's Epic/Phonogenic album #3 up 46-41 with demand rising 48%.

No chance Union J going to #1 next week, I think Robin Thicke can maintain his lead for at least 3 to 4 weeks. :D
Even if Paramore miss top 10, they are still going to get their highest peaking hit yet which excites me :kink:
The Voice UK series 1 winner Leanne Mitchell's debut album not even in the top 100. At #112, selling 423 copies.

 What a flop!
