The first single from upcoming album 'Believe' is called 'Boyfriend' and is released on 26th March. Written by Justin himself along with Mike Posner. Justin is meant to be 'rapping' 'a bit' in the song.

Although I suspect a grand total of two people on this site are looking forward to it.

The fact he's rapping makes me expect cringier and more awful than ever. Or maybe I just cannot be objective when it comes to awfulness like this :P

I had a listen to clip earlier (god knows why) and it actually doesn't sound that bad. I preferred the quickie instrumental clip and I doubt I'll buy it or listen out of choice but it's hardly on a level with his other awful material...

Sounds laughably basic for somebody who should have the best songs, writers and producers in the entire industry at his disposal.

I'm not sure the best writers and producers would want to associate themselves with Justin Bieber.

Wish he didn't put the rap in it, it's beyond awful. Aside from that I think the song isn't bad.
I'm with Jark. It DOES sound very basic considering the amount of people he could choose to work with (Justin Bieber or not, he makes so much money I'm sure most would jump at the chance to work with him.) It's not bad though.
It's pretty good but I was expecting something a bit more. I was reading reports that his new stuff has a whole new sound and vibe to it that's never been done before, but this is hardly a leap forward.
It's quite good for a Justin Bieber song. His A&R are clearly trying to make him the new Justin Timberlake. The rap is awful, his voice does not suit it at all. There's no tone in it to justify having it in there. Also after this, anyone that denies any similarities between Justin Bieber and Conor Maynard is just beyond fooling themselves.

THIS IS BEYOND AWFUL. The Siren sound in the background is so annoying.

Baby is so much better.

I kinda love it.

Good move on their part!
