September 8, 200618 yr The song and video are proving to be popular - hopefully they will get another top 10 single, which will be great for the UK album launch. The single has now been put back to 'late' October. You can view the video by clicking on the link in my signature (its filed under the Media section -> Videos) The promos have been pressed and the remixes have been done by: Robbie Rivera Soulseekers Europeanz Weekend Wonderz And of course Infernal's own mixes - Radio edit, original extended and possibily the infernal club mix B x
September 8, 200618 yr Not keen on it. Very poor remake it might grow on me yet though. Doubt this will go top 10.
September 10, 200618 yr I'm hugely disappointed by it, the "oh oh oh oh" intro is fab, but it just lacks a huge something after that :( Most of the album is better -_- The video is also a bit c**p, it looked great in the making of vid's we saw, but the final version is a total letdown :(
September 11, 200618 yr I'm hugely disappointed by it, the "oh oh oh oh" intro is fab, but it just lacks a huge something after that :( Most of the album is better -_- The video is also a bit c**p, it looked great in the making of vid's we saw, but the final version is a total letdown :( I completely disagree-I thought that the album was a letdown in most parts but Self Control is excellent. Their 3rd best track imo after From Paris to Berlin and A to the B...Its so catchy and dare I say it...much better than the original
September 11, 200618 yr i like this another 80s throw back but it works infernl's strength is the lead singer's voice, its quality its rare for a dance group to have a really good singer this should go top5
September 11, 200618 yr She is excellent and was refreshing to hear her peform 'From Paris to Berlin' live on TOTP :D
September 11, 200618 yr :cheer: what does 'self control' sound like? is it propa camp! i'm dying to hear it! is it a patch on 'paris to berlin'?? t'help!
September 12, 200618 yr i saw a copy of the from paris to berlin australian tour edition album in my cd shop today,i didnt buy yet as im not sure what it will be like, has anyone got it here?
September 12, 200618 yr The album is more of same, a strong pop album - if you like the single From Paris to berlin, you will like the album of the same name. The Aus album featured 4 new tracks (than the European edition) - A to the b, peace inside, ten miles and loved like a maniac (plus a new version of Fairytale) there is a UK version coming out (November 2006) and as far as i know, contains another two new recordings (including Self Control) but no one knows what else will be on it. So far, around Europe and Aus, Infernal have released 5 singles from the 'old' album: Cheap trick kinda girl Keen on disco From Paris to Berlin A to the B Ten miles So im guessing these will also be on the UK edition of the album? B x
September 14, 200618 yr i saw a copy of the from paris to berlin australian tour edition album in my cd shop today,i didnt buy yet as im not sure what it will be like, has anyone got it here? As was said, if you like Paris, you should love it. If it's the one in HMV for just 22Euro, then it's well worth it as it's a whole remix disc and should actually be dearer as it's an import ;)
September 17, 200618 yr What's the official release date? It sounds AMAZING in the clubs. I heard 2 October. Its a brilliant track, I love it.
