Ah, that would make sense! Didn't know budget physicals could chart on download sales (I guess that's what happened with Michael Jackson's 'Bad' just after his death, it initially re-entered outside the top 40 for a couple of weeks then suddenyl re-entered inside the top 10 a few months later).

Yeah, same happened I believe with The Sound of Girls Aloud, which re-entered low Top 200 a few weeks after dropping out from #10, yet still being #1 on the Budget Chart. Obviously on a much lesser scale than the previous two examples, but you know. :P

I heard Price Tag by Jessie J on the radio multiple times months before it got released but people still insist that's on air, on sale. :drama:

 

Is it getting a re-release? Checked the 1 Xtra playlist its not back on there?!

 

I haven't heard anything about it getting re-released, but I hope so, as it's by FAR A$AP Rocky's most well-known song in the UK. It has had great longevity, so I could see it selling as much as 50,000 without going top 40. According to Bre it's re-entered due to being used in the new Hangover movie.

Vidcapper and I have concluded that the Stereophonics album was charting on downloads only last week, and the physical version has only just returned from budget chart exile.

 

FYI, the Stereophonics 'Best Of' was #1 for 10 weeks on the budget chart!

OOO right happy days the Hangover always use great songs on their film, they used Monster by Kanye in the 2nd movie at the perfect time just as the s@@t was hitting the fan and they were getting drunk!! Great moment!!

 

Price Tage was OA/OS imo obv some people will hear it through other means. Its a bit like Gotye it was OA/OS in the uk even though it was released elsewhere at earlier time if you know what imean loL!

Sounds impressive, although I guess with the success of their recent album and the fact budget album #1s more often than not have a significant lead from the #2, it's not too surprising (not that I want to rain on anyone's parade! :P).

That's the most reasonable explanation I could come up with anyway. It was mentioned in the YouTube comments and I Googled it and the movie seems to have come out pretty recently.
