It's everything I expected and more. Siobhan's vocals blow my mind, and Keisha's pre-chorus is one of the greatest part of the song.

The production is also very good. They are going for a distinctive sound from the very beginning.

I'm really liking it, definitely takes a few listens to get into the swing of it but a great comeback imo.
It really does sound amazing and gets better with every listen. I'm not sure how well it will do though as it isn't a big comeback single in the commercial sense as others have said.
Incredible. Blood Orange's work with them has been incredible. This and Lay Down in Swimming Pools have been two of the best songs of the year.
Welcome to LITERALLY a year ago. That's when they revealed they are now a group called 'MutyaKeishaSiobhan'.

That doesn't exactly answer my question, though.

This is incredible. Took a few listens but wow.

No, they can't legally call themselves Sugababes and I think they gave up on trying before they started due to Mutya's failed attempt to snatch it back.

It might be for the best to be honest - the name has been dragged through the mud and is tainted.

The music industry doesn't work as simply as that. The name is owned by the label/management/whatever rather than the artists themselves in this particular case. They can't just take away the name of a current group who are on 'hiatus' (even though it's more than likely that they've split).

Like the poster above said, using the name Sugababes would ruin any chances of success.

I must've missed that?

I must've missed that?

Yes, you must have.

It's a decent enough song, credible. Nothing mind blowing, but I trust it's a grower.

Kind of my issue too. I mean it's a really solid song (surely a grower) but it doesn't have that first listen impact necessary for a big comeback single, does it? It's too much like a ballad.

I completely agree with this. It is lovely in a subtle kind of way but with a comeback single they needed something far more punchy. The production is wonderful though.

I read they turned down 'big' songs because they wanted to remain authentic, which is fair enough and shows they're in it much more for the music than the success.

"Them" turning down the "big" songs might be the usual Keisha PR though. I.e. Emeli Sande / Katy B snatched back their songs => "WE" turned down big songs".

But all in all, it's for best they won't have Emeli Sande song tbh.

I'm loving this so much more than I ever hoped I would. It's literally sending shivers down my spine, and I've never been a massive supporter of these three at all! Pure brilliance! Oh and they also tweeted me today. Sexcellent.

Really? I think it could have worked really well, especially if Emeli wrote something similar to this for them:

Could you imagine them doing that, I think their vocals would just be stunning.

WHAT I LOVE

- The intro

- The verses

- The harmonies and the vocals

- The fact that they're not trying to hard for the first 2 mins and it sounds flawless

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

- The chorus, quite forgettable and flat

- The ending, trying to hard to sound "epic"

As a comeback single, it kind of lacks something IMO. I would have seen it more like an album track.

It feels good to hear them together anyway.
