It really is!! And as Bre said earlier, she will now have 7 UK top 40 hits from this album! Just remarkable considering she managed 3 UK top 40 hits from the past 3 albums combined! :o

I think Taylor must now be the biggest female popstar in the UK at this current moment, even ahead of Rihanna who is yet to make an impact with 'Right Now' and didn't make an impact with 'Pour It Up'!

To an extent, although '22' sales wide didin't do that great. I'm sure had Right Now been released last week at 59p with a performance on BGT she would have done incredibly well. Rihanna's album sales of ''Unapologetic' is still miles better than Taylor's sales of 'Red'

I think Pink is the biggest female artist in the UK right now -- her album has outsold Rihanna's latest, and her biggest single of the era might outsell Rihanna's.

Taylor might possibly have a bigger era than either of them when all is said and done, but she still has a long way to go to lift her album sales up to the level of those two.

Passenger is slightly ahead of Daft Punk combined for the first time ever (I think). I have a feeling 'Let Her Go' may have better long-term longevity than 'Get Lucky', but 'Get Lucky' is too far ahead sales-wise for 'Let Her Go' to ever really have a chance at overtaking now.

Taylor should be coming for at least top 5 if not top 3! Hope it does go top 3, a second top 3 for Ed and ensuring the two shit 'Red' singles are the two lowest peaking.

I don't think Right Now would've done as well from a performance as Taylor's song. It always seems to be ballads, more acoustic songs which get the biggest boosts, and um, Rihanna's song isn't like that lol. I think they released Stay around X Factor finale and in time for all those award shows in the US because they knew it's a song that would benefit much more from live performances.

94. Badger Swagger (feat. David Attenborough, Brian May, Slash, Shara Nelson & Kerry Ellis) - Artful Badger

I don't know what this is, but I already love it. David Attenborough getting a hit single?

EDIT: Although it appears to be properly credited to 'Artful Badger & Friends' so even if it does chart his name won't actually appear on it. Boo.

Youtubed this INSTANTLY and its not quite what it seems from the title!

Its surprisingly decent and definitely for a good cause. Dunno if they're gonna succeed in 'Mass Download Monday' spree to get this to number 1 though!

Venus Palermo has now been deleted after reaching a peak of #25. The Glee Cast's version is now the highest, can they beat Venus' peak or will a new tribute version take up the challenge?

Perhaps Stephanie Treo could make another comeback? :kink:

I think all the 6 year-old girls and middle-aged women in the country are going to explode when I Love It finally gets released.

I agree, I think I'll be the most excited 6 year old girl of all.

And I'm sure Ryan and I will be the excited middle aged women. :D

I typed in ' Stephanie Treo I Love It ' into Youtube, and these videos came up. :drama: The song actually sounds fairly close to the original tbh. I suppose it's not the most complicated song to remake though.

I wonder why people don't download Glee Cast's cover more though, since that's actually a professionally made one. It was like that with We Are Young as well, there was the Glee Cast version, but people were choosing over covers instead.

The iTunes thread is going to be painfully long that week when it gets released. I dont know what the big fuss over that song is but whatever.

Maybe so! Third time lucky! :kink:

I listened to the preview of the one by the Glee Cast and that sounds very close to the original and definitely well produced compared to the other tribute versions. If that one didn't have the Glee association, I bet that would be doing a lot better! I think that Nicki Bliss will be the next one to climb very quickly though because I think the Glee version will not be considered by many people.

Hallelujah John Legend 'Ordinary People' has been increased to 99p, it should easily fall out of the top 40 this week now.

39. John Legend - Ordinary People

43. Jennifer Lopez Feat Pitbull - Live It Up (I'm surprised Capital have not started supporting 'Live It Up' hopefully it manages to get a third week top 40)

56. Emeli Sande - Read All About It Part III.

70. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us

77. Keith Lemon - I Wanna Go On You

103. Mark Owen - Stars

105. Glee Cast - I Love It

120. Stooshe - Slip

137. The Wanted - Walks Like Rihanna (This could debut straight in at number one)

140. Jason Derulo - The Other Side

173. Dizzee Rascal - Goin Crazy

184. Ke$ha - Crazy Kids

Thing is they wont be able to delete Glees version if that gets as high up surely?

Nope, they wouldn't be able too. I wonder if Glee's version could go top 40 tomorrow, the funny thing is I'm sure the public would rather purchase a version for 79p rather than 99p, so I can see another tribute version going higher.

I'd love for the Glee Cast version to reach top 10. Even though the version is quite annoying (had a listen to it earlier today), I love it's amount of weeks before release has been ridiculous.
103. Mark Owen - Stars

Smash that top 100 Mark! :(

Icona Pop's "I Love It" is even #27 on Spotify with 154,065 plays but still not available on iTunes.
