June 19, 201312 yr ^ Wasn't she testing the waters with Don't Rush & Don't You Wanna Stay? :PDon't think so. 'Don't Rush' was added to her greatest hits (which was never made a single, was it?) because she always wanted to do a country song and 'Don't You Wanna Stay?' wasn't her song. I presume she's releasing this EP, because she has got a good reaction from just about everyone in regards to her country songs and as stated before, she's been wanting to do a country album for a while.
June 19, 201312 yr Don't Rush was sent to country radio, I think it was probably just to get the Greatest Hits perhaps selling a bit better with a wider audience, and to bridge the gap between Catch My Breath and People Like Us as main singles, because it was quite a long time after Catch My Breath was sent to radio that they sent People Like Us!
June 19, 201312 yr Author But the Xmas album is out end of this year, and this sounds quite Christmasy at parts AKA the bells. Or the bells could just be a nod to wedding bells I believe the next album is her last contracted album with RCA so I wouldn't be surprised if they finally 'allowed' her to do a country album. But she's always had an eclectic mix on her albums. I don't think she'll ever do an album that's solely Country.

June 19, 201312 yr whats the symbolism of wedding bellsPlease tell me this is a joke and you're just trolling for the sake of it?
June 20, 201312 yr Author whats the symbolism of wedding bells http://welldoneyou.com/image/cache/data/badge/Badge_Green_Well_done_you-500x500.jpg Apparently Shontelle and Sia are writing for the new album and/or the Christmas album. Although most early news like this is eventually scraped.
June 20, 201312 yr Perhaps it will a Taylot Swift - Red sort of album? She had a few country songs like All Too Well, Red and Begin Again but also pop like We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and 22. Although it might all be songs that straddle the border like Red. Tie It Up is quite country but it's still quite countrified Alanis Morisette (happier than her often angst/bile filled songs of course ) so it isn't too much of a departure. Also, Tie It Up is out on iTunes on 25th June (US I assume) and to radio the 8th July!
June 20, 201312 yr Also, Tie It Up is out on iTunes on 18th June (US I assume) and to radio the 8th July! June 25th actually, according to her post on facebook.
June 25, 201312 yr Weird, isn't she in the middle of releasing People Like Us? It's just the US country single - they won't be sending it to radio here or giving it a proper push. It's just nice for the fans if she releases it and doesn't leave the UK out like a lot of artists do!
June 25, 201312 yr And like it matters... A) It's a different format, loads of artist release multiple songs to different stations B) PLU is hardly lighting up the charts
