'Home' is the highest peaking AI winner's single, beating the #61 of David Cook's 'The Time Of My Life' by 1 place. Kris Allen's 'No Boundaries' is the only other one to even go top 100 (#92).

Oh of course, I got confused what with Kelly Clarkson's ongoing singles chart success and Jordin Sparks's brief affair with chart success not actually charting having their winners singles released/chart here, although Kelly's was of course later covered by Leona Lewis!

"Skinny Love"'s 36th week top 75 moves it in 4th place in the rather eclectic "most weeks top 75 without going top 15" list!

40 wks - "A Scottish Soldier" by Andy Williams (peak number 19)

39 wks - "Hey Soul Sister" by Train (peak number 18)

37 wks - "Kids" by MGMT (peak number 16)

36 wks - "Skinny Love" by Birdy (peak number 17)

35 wks - "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People (peak number 18)

First Rihanna-free Top 75 for absolutely ages!

When was the last one?

Her own fault for releasing Pour it Up.

Do you really think it was her decision?

Stereophonics' Greatest Hits set was a re-entry at 21 last week for no apparent reason and was at 24 in Wednesday's update. However, it has finished outside the top 100 which suggests that last week's re-entry may have been a mistake.

What were the chances of there being more than one Loreen charting?

Amazed at Rihanna having no presence in the top 75! And Union J missing the top five with their debut single, oops.

Her own fault for releasing Pour it Up.

It's down to money at the end of the day, and Pour It Up will still have made a lot of money for her record label, which is why they released it.

It didn't make the top 40 though, so doubt it made more than a more commercial track would have (Mother Mary, Lost in Paradise, etc)

The actual money from sales is just a minority of money you make from a song though (usually).

I remember watching a recent interview with Boi-1da, who's a producer. He said out of all the songs he's produced, Best I Ever Had by Drake made the most money. He also produced Not Afraid by Eminem, which was a worldwide chart hit, but that song didn't actually make as much money.

It's probably re-appeared at #1 in the budget chart then - either a mistake or it was taken off budget for all of one week. Odd.

Mm how so?

Even from advertisements, streaming, etc, I can't see Pour It Up making much.
