Day 63: The Big Pay Off

The big twist is upon us!

Our four nominated housemates have been told that they're about to face a very, very important dilemma.

Big Brother is prepared to pay off our remaining HMs in cold, hard cash to leave the show tonight. The question is, what's the lowest amount of money they'll be willing to take in order to leave the process?

One by one, in a random order chosen by the housemates, the four evictees will come to the small task room. Inside they'll be faced with a dramatically lit wall of figures. The wall will be covered in removable boards, each with a different amount of money written on it - ranging from a quid to £100,000. The four evictees must each choose the lowest amount they'd be prepared to take in order to clear off this very evening.

Housemates are going to have to think about how much money they want to receive, how much they think others will take and, even more than that, how much they want to stay to the final. The lower they go, the more likely they are to win, but the less money they'll leave with and their BB experience will end rather abruptly.

Each of our four nominated housemates will then place their chosen cash-piles inside a briefcase before being gathered in the living area where they'll stand behind a podium. One by one, they'll open their briefcases to reveal the amount of money they've chosen.

How low can you go housemates... and when you said you wanted to make it to the final, exactly how much did you mean it?

This might oust the twins, yay :D
What's realling annoying though is that each year, Channel 5 have advertised the £100,000 prize much more than Channel 4 did imo and in all three series, no one has won the full £100,000
So apparently they aren't told that the person who chooses the lowest amount of money leaves? Are they TRYING to get rid of Charlie? I don't think Dexter's that bothered about the money either, but I think the twins and Sam could be tempted, so could pick high amounts.

If so, that is f***ing ridiculous.

I agree, Charlie's the most modest , but hey, she probably wasn't going to survive Friday if she was up anyway, so if she does get the money and leave, at least she's left with money I guess. I'd rather her and Sam got money out of all the housemates left. Would love Charlie in the final though. She might have enough fans to not let her finish last.
Dexter went lowest at £88,000 but has not been removed from the house, but instead granted immunity. He had to replace himself with either Sophie or Gina and he chose Sophie meaning Sophie, Charlie, Jack & Joe and Sam fave the public vote. The twist has not changed anything anyway as Dexter would not have gone and Charlie will still go. What a boring twist to be honest.
Bit disappointing. I don't think they should be given the choice, because it just makes twists like this absolutely pointless; and Dexter going would have shaken them up a bit.
£88,000 the lowest?! lol! Anyways glad my Top 2 are dead certs in the final now

Would any of them realistically leave with any less than that (OK, someone probably would leave with a minimum of £50k, but still)?

Ugh really? So the actual winner now gets £12,000 which will probably be f***ing Dexter anyway.
I still don't get it. Were they putting cash they want to get out of the house? And the one with the lowest would go? What did the rest of them put then LMAO 99k?! SUCH a non-'twist'. Where is Daley though INDEED? They need to award him with some of the prize money! :(

No I don't think that any of the money was a actually taken. From what I understand, the whole 'taking the money and leaving' was a lie and the person who picked the lowest amount of money was just granted immunity. I think the proze money still stands at £100,000.

Ah right, all I saw was that post and I just assumed, but that would of course be totally unfair  makes more sense that way, I think they all went for the same 'I'll go high so I don't have to leave' thing to be honest since they thought it was to leave.

Maybe if they chose a sum more than 50k and won they would be automatically granted immunity while anything below 50k would see them go? I don't know.
