July 9, 201312 yr This reminds me a bit of Domino by Jessie J - in the sense, its a catchy song, but pretty faceless overall and seems to be just designed for the States, and the video definitely backs this up. Its a real shame as I loved the direction Halcyon went and this will definitely stick out on the tracklist. I don't dislike it, but its certainly something of a 'sell out' and the re-release definitely won't be worth a purchase if this is the standard of the new tracks there... July 10, 201312 yr Wow, heard the end of this this morning, and sounded really good - just listening in full, and I absolutely adore this, I love the bridge leading into such a fabulous chorus. Ellie's so good at the moment, for someone who I was sort of unsure on with the first era. This, Anything Could Happen and Figure 8 are all 9/10 songs at least.
July 14, 201312 yr Hi all I'm Erik, :) hope you don't mind me bumping this thread. Ellie Goulding's Burn led me to her cover of The Weeknd's High For This (released last late summer on Soundcloud) and her in general. This track is just divine! Going on repeat for days now :D Can't find any reaction on it at Buzzjack though.
