I apparently loon for String laden MOR pop now :drama:

I find the album to be sublime, as with I Know. They are both very pleasant and easy to listen to. Butterflies, I Love You and Crazy Cool are by far her best three singles imo

She's had other singles? :P

I think my main problem with the album is that it's "too" easy to listen to if you get me. It just fades into the background too easily. The production on both albums is lovely, and the melodies are nice, but bar a few songs, it is incredibly lacking in hooks, so it's very easy to let five songs pass you by and barely acknowledge them.

That said I am giving it a second listen, and it is slightly better, but still I get the feeling it's one of those albums where the tracks are more suited being listened to in isolation rather than back to back.

I'm listening to the album on shuffle in the lib and i'm finding the opposite to be quite honest.

I find Stuck In My Head to do exactly that, get stuck in my head. I'm loving the random quest rapper, it's currently among the highlights for me. It's certainly made the morning go past quite nicely, which is a plus after my car issues earlier. And as Rich said, No Way Out is simply divine.

No Way Out is definitely among my favourites...Stuck In My Head on the other hand...

I dunno I just find the guest rapper very jarring!! I think he's awful

Oh i love him, i think it makes the track that little bit more epic.

I'm going to post my new chart/playlist when I get home and there are 5 Tone tracks on it - No Way Out, Stuck In My Head (although I had a  moment on first listen with the rapper!), Crazy Cool, That's What You Get and a return for Butterflies :D I'm really enjoying the album ^_^

Peter, if you really want an album that completely fades into the background without ever realising it's been on, get the new Charlotte Church album! Achingly bland would be a vast understatement. She used to know her way around a good melody, there don't appear to be any on this album - perhpas she should have just released a book of poetry instead.

It really is an album to enjoy isn't it. My currently playlist contains the album in it's entirety lol

I set a limit for my playlist at 60 songs every Thursday where I delete all of the stuff I'm bored of and add new songs and the best album tracks I've heard in the week. So Tone did well to get 5 on there! Although Cheryl Cole has 7 :drama: I have an irrational love for her new album and indeed everything she produces

I haven't heard anything from Messy Little Raindrops yet.

I couldn't stand anything from her last album, but Promise This is surprisingly good.

My playlist tends to be the recently played playlist  Currently sitting at over 200 tracks. I really should make a weekly playlist. Tone would still make it with a big portion of the album :heehee:

I really love this album now. Been listening to it all day. :o

Edited by Kieran.

I really enjoyed I Know, so will have to give Cocool a listen at some point!

My two favourite artists are The Corrs and Delta Goodrem. 'nuf said :P

Anyway...Stuck In My Head isn't just stuck there but completely wedged and showing no signs of going anywhere :drama:

Tone and Delta are two of my favourites now :cheer:

I've traditionally been pop, so MOR Pop and Scandipop is really just an evolution

LOL it's pretty good at getting wedged isn't it

I was always pop and dance, moreso dance in fact pre-2003, but that year was so utterly $hite for dance music that I was forced to find something else, and pop was my calling! My Scandipop looning came hand in hand with my Eurovision looning

It's certainly that :drama:

I was pop, then Dance until the Sugababes caught my attention. I've been in love with Dance and Pop ever since

I have downloaded Cocool. It's stronger than I Know overall but has less standout tracks, if that makes sense. I Know had about 5 songs I instantly loved and the other tracks were quite mediocre, whereas this album has 3 great tracks (No Way Out, Crazy Cool and I Love You), and the rest is pretty good.

I only thought 2 tracks stood out on I Know - Butterflies and the title track  I liked Little Lies too but it's been removed. I honestly can't remember how any of the other songs go at this moment in time and need my memory refreshing when it finally surfaces here!

Anyway...I just heard Butterflies whilst picking up some bits in the Co-op, it was on their radio station  I know it's a-listed by Radio 2 but I still find it utterly bizarre hearing a near 2 year old MGP runner on the UK airwaves! Shame Radio 2 play doesn't really translate into sales, its down to 500 or thereabouts on iTunes :(

How random that it's being played on Co-Op instore radio.

Shame she isn't going to make it big here :(
