I only just heard/witnessed this atrocity. She is possibly an even more deplorable "artiste" than Rita Ora just on account of seemingly believing she offers something new/fresh/even vaguely listenable. That waily post chorus part sounds like a million sacks of Neurofen being checked through the self service till at Tesco.

If it wasn't for that voice, then the song could have just been by anyone. There's no individuality there at all, I thought Calvin Harris may help the song (he did produce it right or am I making that up?) but it's just so basic. I am dreading hearing that voice all over the radio though, Domino and Laserlight were bad enough.

She really is a bit shit isn't she? I fail to find anything redeeming about her at all and even the odd song of her's I enjoyed at the time sound dated and offensive to my ears now. I'd rather listen to Mariah Carey screeching like a banshee.

Me too :( She was awful performing it on X-Factor Australia yesterday though, it was less shouty but I really don't think the song comes across too well live at all!

I never said it sounded like that tho. I said It's My Party sounded alot like Raise Your Glass.

I never said anything about the quality of either (eventho we all know RYG is far superior to this)

 

Especially the start till the first chorus remind me of it so much

Raise Your Glass is SO average, this is actually good.
