Can you imagine what the Daily Mail would have had to say if it was 16/17-year-old boys declaring their love for a nine-year-old girl?

Pretty sure there were 16/17 year old boys on Buzzjack declaring their love for Willow Smith when 'Whip My Hair' was in the charts. Same thing, no?

Pretty sure they'd have been gays wishing they were Willow Smith. :D

Stacy Lattishaw was only 13 when "Jump To The Beat" hit #3 in 1980.

I had successfully consigned all knowledge of the existence of that record to the darkest recesses of my memory. Now you've rendered all that effort worthless

I believe the first artist that was born after me that went to number 1 was Cher Lloyd back in 2011, followed soon by One Direction later that year. Probably only a matter of time before a certain 19 year old manages to make that three :(
It's probably too late for me to work out who was the first Number One act born after me. I'm wondering whether Robin Thicke might be the last one who was born before me.

You're expecting Jake Bugg to have a number one single? :o I can wish.

I can never believe how young Jake Bugg is. It just seems WRONG. (Still 3 years older than me though :D)

Dionne Bromfield was only 15 when "Yeah Right" hit #36 in 2011. She was Amy Winehouse's goddaughter.

I was amazed how young he was after I'd first heard heard him. It wasn't just the songs, his voice just sounds so much older.

I would never use a :( if I thought that was possible! I echo the surprise when I found out his age, couldn't believe he was that young.

The first soloist born after me to have a number one single is Gareth Gates, back in 2002. God, I'm old. :(

Also, there's the 1987 top 10 'Hey Matthew' by Karel Fialka, featuring his young son. (Don't have enough posts here to post the video, sorry)
