So anyone watching? Apparently it's been on air since June 26 and I haven't even noticed

Won't be watching as I think I get the same thing by just wiki-ing the results of competitions and shit.

TWO HMs have been saying DISGUSTING things in the first week already! BBUK would've thrown them out in MINUTES for that (they used the words n****, queer and a lot of racist remarks regarding the African-American and Asian ("shut up and make rice" :manson: ) contestants. Yet no major consequences for that :/ ). Glad to hear both girls who said those things have been fired/dropped by a model agency though. Niiiiice :D

I don't watch the US version, but I've read about te disgusting comments :/

*in the dark bitching about a black contestant* 'better be careful what you say about her, she could be in here and you might not see that bitch' (not the exact words, but they did say you couldn't see her in the dark)

Also one of them said their bed sheets smelled because she had been near them.

Then there was 'Kermit the fag' towards a gay guy and other things said to him too.

Aaryn, Jeremy, Kaitlin, GinaMarie and Spencer need to GTFO. They do tend to cast jerks and bullies every year but this bunch this year are especially awful. I wasn't so sure on the MVP twist at first but if it helps keep the good guys in and get the bad guys out then I reckon a lot of justice could be served. :teresa:

Which other girl was involved, Kaitlin? I heard about Aaryn, she's coming across as a nasty piece of work without the comments even being broadcast, glad she's getting what's coming to her. :D

Love the twist, might become a bit stale if Elissa wins every week as much as she is my favourite but Nick also appears to be playing a good game and I love Amanda too.

ps. No spoilers regarding the competitions/nominations prior to them being broadcast please, unless in spoiler tags.

The twist is indeed really good. I might even watch the competitions and ceremonies and shit haha.

Ok, it's the first time I've actually got this far when watching the US version. I normally give up after watching the first eviction because I don't like the format and the past few series have had previous housemates competing.

Anyway, that Aaryn creature and all her friends are VILE, just because they haven't got what they wanted, they're being horrible to everyone else for playing the game! Surely you want to get rid of the big competition, so you have more chance of winning? Helen's my favourite housemate so far.

Just watching the first episode now. It's really shit, isn't it?! Jeremy (he's the Irish-Cherokee guy, right?), Candice, GinaMarie (Staten Island <3 [ignoring the fact that she's kinda racist]), and Nick are the only interesting ones. Obviously I have to like the ones that get evicted straightaway. Can't get my head around the format either. It's so overdone and way too complex. I like the rotating head-of-house idea though. The veto thing is stupid. And the Haves and HaveNots thing gets old pretty quickly.

Yep, it's shit. And there're SO many alliances, way too much bitching and backstabbing and drama. It's really ridiculous. The tasks are always shit as well.

OH f*** SPOILERS PAVEL. I shouldn't have opened the thread!!!

I admit that the US version IS shit (the worst part is the commentary/generally cheesy presentation ruins everything as well as the inevitable producer manipulation) but the tasks are GREAT, as are the MAZE of alliances. The Have/HaveNot is the only thing I don't care too much about. The format has SO SO much potential though. The UK version is getting boring and everyone may not get on with each other, but the house is still way too united and civil.

The cast are always a mixture of annoying and amazing; every single housemate is a mixture of both. I love how even when you get the craziest, most extroverted British people to feature in our version, they can only manage something along the lines of 'oh, hello' when they're walking down the stairs, whilst the US characters all go into the house running and screaming as if they've already won or something. I'm hardly a wallflower but I'd be LOST.

OMG I forgot. SOWWY :(

I've been watching this from the beginning of this season, it's VERY different to the UK version. Definitely a lot more game-based (stating the bleeding obvious here) but it works. Not as enjoyable as BB UK but I like the set format to it.

My full ranking of them (in spoilers cause it could spoil any evictions people may not have seen):

1. Helen

2. Elissa

3. McCrae

4. Candice

5. Howard

6. Amanda

7. Andy

8. Judd

9. Jessie (she's done nothing!)

10. Spencer

11. GinaMarie

12. Aaryn (both of these two are just vile)

EVICTED:

Kaitlin

Nick

David

Jeremy

9. Jessie (she's done nothing!)

I completely forgot/didn't realise

Jessie was in there until I read this! I agree that Helen is the best in there.

I don't *think* we need spoilers. As long as we're not putting XXX WON HOH SO ANNOYED in massive font or anything. If I'm not up to date then I won't be visiting the thread!

1. Amanda

2. Judd (his accent omg)

3. Helen

4. Andy

5. McCrae

6. Candice

7. Howard

8. Aaryn (SUCH a good villain though)

9. Elissa (nowhere near as bad as her sister but still pretty annoying)

10. Jessie (she looks just like a friend of mine and it's kinda scary. my friend is BETTER though)

11. Spencer

12. GinaMarie

No-one I particularly loathe!

What's this about the best housemate to ever enter the house.

That's the right bottom two though, only the idea of a Spencer HOH can make me root for Aaryn, him and GinaMarie make my skin crawl even more than she does.

The audio of 0.28-0.34 is ALL I need to justify my position.

It's her SISTER? They put family members in ALL the time it's now become so boring.

THAT's why she was voted MVP for like 4792 weeks in a row!

Apparently the only reason she was nominated when America was MVP was because people were too stupid to realise that they were voting to nominate rather than voting for MVP. LOL.

Ha. They STILL are. If they did know they voting someone to be UP then why wouldn't they vote GinaMarie for example?
