Where is JT new single? you can now PO the album and get the single!

No sign of Justin's new album being up for pre-order yet on my iTunes, so the single won't be anywhere for the time being.

There's an ad for it though, but when you click it, only the "old" album appears
It'll probably appear in the next couple of hours, we'll probably see 'Take Back The Night' in the iTunes top 10 by tomorrow then!
I just want to dance when I hear it! LOVE it!!!

Avici top 10 on pre orders alone. Has there ever been a more certain #1 than this?

Alan Whicker has passed away, I wonder if Wikka Rap get played a lot this weekend. :D

How old were you when this song came out Mart!n?

Fake version of Wake Me Up now up to #21 :o I think it will stay top 100 officially next week, a bit like how an Icona Pop fake managed to enter the chart the week they were released.

In other news:

Calvin Harris 'Thinking About You' up to #37

Breach 'Jack' pre order up to #82

Robin Thicke 'Blurred Lines (Cave Kings Remix)' up to #94

Miley Cyrus 'We Can't Stop' pre-order up to #109

Disclosure 'F For You' up to #122

Calvin already top 40 - seems to be climbing as quickly as 'I Need Your Love' if not slightly quicker (that started its run 75-41-... ignoring the week at #85 on the album's release week).

I don't think Spark Productions will stay top 100 next week though. Only 'Payphone' has done that before apart from cases where the real version was released midweek and 'I Love It' which is different because as Rich pointed out it's the first thing that comes up when you search for 'i don't care i love it'.

Oh I forgot about that. I tried searching that and the Icona Pop version does not come up as one of the results. I still think that people shouldn't be as stupid as to buy a fake version when the real thing is in the top 10 :P

Why is this remix doing so well? :o

It's the instant grat track on his album pre-order. Sneaky. (But not as sneaky as Arctic Monkeys having the exact same version of 'Do I Wanna Know?' as the instant grat track :P)

lol okay. Looks like his album might do fairly well then! :o He does seem like the kind of person who would've sold a lot of albums in the past if he had more mainstream hits.

Justin Timberlake's new song is awesome. It sounds similar to Suit & Tie though, but like 10 years newer.

I don't see why 'Bad Romance' is always put on a pedastal by so many people on BJ as some sort of revolutionary song that no one could possibly ever try and recreate. It's really not that amazing or innovative. It is just a very good electro-pop song. In terms of Pop, I think there are artists who have released far better songs. Tbh I don't even rate 'Bad Romance' as her best - I think 'Judas' is certainly her best, especially lyrically. I don't get why a lot of people on here disliked it when it was released - maybe its chart position put them off.

I think the main criticism for Judas was the fact that it was seen as a second-rate version of Bad Romance. Personally I like both songs and thought Judas got too much hate.

I agree. I don't even think it's a "very good" song, it's boring. It wasn't revolutionary at all, it sounds the same as Poker Face for starters, her fans can't admit that it's similar, but lots of people thought so when it came out. It was infact a very safe release, and a sure-fire hit. Nothing risky about it whatsoever. If she had released a piano ballad, THAT would've been risky (at the time).

Bad Romance is a song I could expect from Taio Cruz (Taio actually had a hit with Break Your Heart just beforehand, which was just as mind-numbingly boring to me).

That's the thing - the similarities between the two were obvious but, unlike everyone else who seemed to worship BR, I saw 'Judas' as a more improved version of 'Bad Romance'. I wonder if 'Judas' was released in October 2009 and BR was released in 2011, the reception to each song would be reversed too. I'm sure many people would deny that but I think 'Judas' got a lot of hate because BR was held in such high regard and the existence of 'Judas' threatened the love for BR because of the two songs' similarties and 'Judas' risked taking that special uniqueness away from BR. I don't think I explained this well tbh.
