9 years :o I associate this era with taking my GCSEs as I was listening to 'The Way' a lot during that time, it really does fly.

It's also my least favourite album of hers - a cute debut and definitely more 'her' than the 'Put Your Hearts Up' sound, but much better was to come.

'Piano', 'Baby I' and 'Honeymoon Avenue' are probably my top 3 nowadays!

Wow! 9 years... i don't know if it's because the highs of 'Honeymoon Avenue' and 'Daydreamin' are so high but i honestly still believe this is her best album.

i remember when it came out in 2013 and i was trying to get all my friends on board with 'The Way' and they HATED it. I had 4 tickets to a tiny Leicester Square show and had to go by myself as noone wanted to come... how things changed the following year but i'll never forget that fond memory.

one memory i have is being with Colleen Balinger (Miranda Sings) in Freedom Bar - she was doing a London residency and asked me to join her at Freedom after the show and we danced and gushed about 'Your Truly' as she was a huge fan.

Maybe an anniversary addition with unreleased tracks would be more than I could ask for. Seems to be a bit of music industry cliché at the moment.

Eeek, I certainly wouldn't be bragging about that right now!

Are we getting live performances a la her VEVO show for positions a few years ago maybe? She still had some Yours Truly moments as recently as her latest tour, including a rendition of 'Tattooed Heart' under the moon when I saw her.

Also - 'Right There' has now turned 10 years old.

That would be interesting, I think 'Pink Champagne' is the Yours Truly unreleased track I'm most familiar with, I wonder how much is behind the vault

I still prefer this as a whole album to My Everything (and maybe even positions too).

She sounds so comfortable and it feels really natural too. With My Everything that really felt heavily like a label influenced album getting the best writers and producers to write and create an album made for radio / playlists where as this feels like a lovely introduction to one of the best vocalists in the game.

I feel intrigued at wondering how this may have performed outside the US had this been the follow up and My Everything been the debut.

Yeah it did feel like an authentic launchpad for her following the artistic mis-step of 'Put Your Hearts Up'.

That's an interesting thought. Perhaps a sophomore slump? It's an enjoyable album but My Everything is packed with obvious commercial hits whereas this one not quite so much - although I assume a switch around would've at least ensured that 'The Way' was a top 40 hit here - so close

She definitely seems to be dedicated to this 10 year anniversary project, looking forward to it:

Tattooed Heart was the single that never was from this album!

I think I’ll delve into this on my commute to work tomorrow it’s been a while since I listened it as a whole but it really is quite mature for a debut artist and a young artist too! Hopefully the anniversary and the live performances can help the album have a resurgence it’s quite underrated in the UK compared to the rest of her catalogue - although at the time I was surprised that she managed to get a top ten album with this at the time of its release.

Omggggg!!

  loving all the effort! The vinyl dropping on pay day also

They can't be serious with that album cover! I don't even mind it being a still from the video, the fact it's such an unflattering photo and so blurred!

Will give the whole digital deluxe album a listen later but a strong start with these performances, she sounds beautiful!
