Just hearing this now and I do quite like it, but not quite loving it yet. Definitely feels like more of a grower than Gentleman which I still hate. The chorus is great, but the verses are a bit of a non-entity really. Not one of their best, but a definite improvement on Gentleman.

I was right, this is definitely a grower, I'm getting a bit addicted.

It's actually Mollie's fault, her voice is really annoying and breathier than ever in the first verse - but from there on, the song is actually really good, she's just the weak link in this song for me. Vanessa sounds fab.

I have a feeling Capital are going to snub this :(

It seems to be matching Gentleman's pre-order sales so far, although it has had slightly more airplay at this point.

I just can't imagine this flopping. I'm sure it'll start picking up soon.
So my sister just got back from the Fusion festival in Birmingham and she said they didn't do 'Disco Love'. That's now 3 festivals/gigs they've done since it premiered and they haven't performed it. Such missed opportunities. What's taking so long? It's not like they've got to rework Frankie's parts!
Raging!!!???
Did you really expect them to be? They're probably somewhere between 500 and 700
If they don't get playlisted by Radio1 this week then it's time to start worrying!

I'd say next week would be the time.

Yes? It's The Saturdays. They've had 15 singles and been around for years, it's not like they're a new act on the scene. Their music videos usually jump into the TV charts immediately, especially with all the "The Saturdays new music video" type things on. I didn't expect them to be anywhere on radio but yes, I did expect them top 50 on TV considering it debuted last week and they're a well known commercial act.

They need to build up tho, you can't really expect TV to jump on it, playing it multiple times a day, if the release date is still 5 weeks away
they need to do some promotion even though the song is not out till next month, they aren't even advertised on Vevo, they usually are :/ I am worrying

Not sure if someone posted this -

Whilst I enjoy this song to a degree - I just really don't see it selling the album. I feel like it's going to be the same old story - it's really FAR from their best. There's not a lot to it, especially for a casual music buyer to be like "oh yeah, that 'Disco Love' song was really good, I'll check out The Saturdays new album.

They should have released it straight after 'What About Us' and got that good peak with the album and then could have seen what was cherry-picked / or got good reviews and gone with that as subsequent releases.

Should I be worried that radios are not playing it? I'm confused haah
Radios should start their radio play exactly, when October begins......else we should definitely bombard the stations with radio requests !!!!! I have links for most of the UK radio stations.
