One Republic also have another version top 100. I'm almost certain that they will peak at #05 as Justin Bieber will start dropping tomorrow.
 6. The Saturdays - Disco Love
To be fair One Republic have just announced UK tour dates so they were increasing a lot yesterday evening through the night where Disco Love wasn't.
My signed CD arrived just now. 'On the Radio' is just making me think of Martine McCutcheon. Very faithful cover nonetheless!

The Sats WISH their version was as legendary as Martine's.

^ I have to agree! I don't much care for The Saturdays' version. I prefer 'Love Come Down'.
Love Come Down makes me yawn, it's terrible. That middle-8 is so unnecessary. On The Radio on the other hand is amazing. Absolutely love it. But then you can do no wrong with such a song in the first place. Both were produced by The Alias which is surprising. I thought they all came from the StopWaitGo sessions.

Eek, I thought they sucked out all the fun and soul out of 'On The Radio' with an incredibly bland reinterpretation. Martine's version blows it out of the water! :drama: They've not done it justice, not to these ears anyway.

I wasn't previously familiar with 'Love Come Down', so that's essentially a new track for me.

Acoustic performance of Disco Love with Shaggy. So random.

I love Shaggy. I don't know why. He's just fun.

#1 hit 'Not Giving Up' feat Shaggy pls, k bye.

I'm delighted that ' Disco Love ' basically has secured 5th this week. Their 13% ahead of #07 so hopefully they drop to around #08 next week which would be a good outcome.

Maybe their performance on This Morning could help them overtake Conor on iTunes, although he has another version at #27.

Their performance on iTunes has ensured that they've climbed to #38 on radio airplay, hopefully it manages to go top 30 this week.

And people laughed at me when I said this could do two weeks Top 10

The success of the song doesn't make sense, though.

You said yourself that "you had a feeling". Not even stats, facts, or anything. Just "a feeling".

I just fail to understand how a song that is not even officially top 40 on radio airplay yet and not even top 20 on TV can be such a steady #5 on iTunes. It didn't even do that well on preorders. Obviously, I'm so happy and delighted, but I really don't understand. Sure the promo is good, but that doesn't explain why it's steady.

At the end of the day, I don't care why it's a success, I'm just so freaking happy that it is and I can only hope the album is gonna do just as well. Bring Not Giving Up now.

Imagine if they just released Disco Love as single two, I honestly believe it could have went to number one, especially as it would have had way more airplay (It went #04 and was behind 3 new entries)

Not Giving Up needs to be the next single, video should be set in LA and to end ' Living For The Weekend ' campaign it has to be ' Anywhere With You ' or ' Leave A Light On'

Their touring early next year, I assume their dates will be announced soon? Hurricane imagine it.... " Not Giving Up Tour" *.*

Their SS performance was amazing, showing some cool moves.

Google hangout was fun , loved it :) though the songs were not reproduced HQ over the youtube. Performance with shaggy, was a surprise and good. But still could see some room for improvement - if they are going to release Disco Love feat Shaggy in US.

The fact that they are putting the technology to best use, like Google hangout + Digital album signing on Monday, shows the teams' innovation capability (They need to continously innovate). They can further improve by getting ideas from fans. Though Google + was not perfect, the sats made it feel natural, making the most of that situation. Still appreciate their willingness to touchbase with the solid fan base they have.

Up to #32 on rolling airplay. Awesome to see this back at #4 as well! I didn't think This Morning would do anything for them.

Anyway, I'm a firm believer that the quality of a song is the biggest factor when it comes to chart performance. I don't care how much airplay/promo there is, if the song sucks it's going to flop. Obviously those factor in but not to the extent that some people here make them out to. Disco Love is a very instant, fun, mainstream song, and the iTunes clip is what a lot of people go by when deciding to buy a song. That's why I predicted this would do well :)
