I was in the audience at the Bullring on Saturday. I was honestly so surprised at how many people actually turned up, There are 3 levels to the Bullring and all 3 levels were full around the balconies, and it may not look that impressive in that video but the crowd were a lot more interested in their more well known stuff like Ego and What About Us. The girls sounded great and they did the best they could with the crap staging. The best was at the end of What About Us there was loads of confetti coming from the ceiling. Everyone really enjoyed it. Although I probably was the only person there who knew all the words to Disco Love haha.

Was it a Saturdays only event? What was the reaction at the end of Disco Love?

It was to celebrate The Bullrings 10th anniversary, Mollie hosted the fashion show earlier on in the day and also on the evening. I haven't seen the bullring that busy since the week before christmas. But Union J were also at HMV the same day so there was quite a few of their fans there. & the reaction was positive, everyone cheered and clapped but no way near the reaction of What About Us.

:( I hope to hell that Disco Love does amazingly well!.!
Last week, Some UK DJ over FB, said that it sounded like -' Oh...it's a lap dance in the air '

The cover of 'On The Radio' is class.

I need to download it. Like Now!!

'On The Radio' here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/tvshowbiz...2190/index.html

Much better than 'Love Come Down'.

Sounds amazing!

Again, no Frankie just like Love Come Down and Disco Love. If it's confirmed both b-sides were also produced by StopWaitGo, I think it's pretty obvious it means Frankie just didn't show up the recording sessions. I find it rather ironic when people said her voice was missing from the Disco Love performance when she's not even on the song. Still, I find it also sad she has nothing at all.

I'm probably the only one who thinks both b-sides are a complete bore. I would've preferred an original song rather than two covers.

I'm a big fan of On The Radio so I'm glad they covered it, but exactly because I'm a big fan of the song, I feel like I've heard it a lot already, so I feel you when you say you would have prefered a new original track.

I'll probably tag On The Radio to the album on my iTunes playlist, though. It has an electro-vibes so it would fit in. I was scared it would stick out like a sore thumb.

Surprised nobody has mentioned that ' Disco Love ' has been removed from the Capital playlist. I'll be surprised if it manages to peak within the top 50 on radio.

I wonder what the "positive" people have to say now.

If it manages to go top 10 it should fall down the chart at a comical rate unless Radio 1 decide to start supporting ' Disco Love'. It's sad to think that the campaign started so well ' What About Us ' looked to have made The Saturdays' relevant again.

I fully believe this will be The Saturdays' last full album (I just don't think their committed enough) I also think they've lost the majority of airplay support which will be difficult to get back unless they come back with an absolute banger. It's incredible that radio1 have managed to support them for so long especially since they've blacklisted Lawson & The Wanted.

Shocked @ Capital, I thought they were playing it a lot.

Lol, no.

They will release another full album, I'm sure.

I doubt they will release anything out of this album if it flops, though.

Those "positive people" are probably not going to disagree with you guys now, now that things are clearer. It was just frustrating to see people speak so negatively of the release, SIX weeks before anything happened (promotion, airplay, video prem even). There was constant panic that radio 1 had "snubbed them" from that point onwards, when they never playlist a song as advanced as that, ever. So back then, as a Saturdays fan it was incredibly infuriating to see it with almost every other post one member (in particular) would make (and from what I've read on here, that poster also got told very similar things on another forum). Didn't even give it a chance.

I'm still fairly confident in this tbh. Yeah it'll be out the charts faster than you can say "Una", but it went top 200 the day it got put up for pre-order and has been back in the top 500 (?) ever since Radio 1 did eventually playlist it.

I'll be happy with two weeks Top 10 and I think that's very possible. As long as Not Giving Up is released as a single, the album will do fine.

I don't know for the rest of the "negative people", but I personally have never said anything like that SIX weeks before the release. I know it might not be directed to me, but I'm just saying. (I'm pretty sure the song was premiered seven weeks ago so it wouldn't make much sense anyway. I was one of the first to praise the holy vocals from the girls on the song and how good it was in general  )

However, it was pretty obvious it was going to flop 3 weeks ago I would say. :( There is a pattern. An obvious one. And in the case of The Saturdays where they had so many flops in different settings (30 Days in Spring, Gentleman during the Summer and My Heart Takes Over during the Winter/End of the year, with or without promotion, with X or Y airplay/Youtube views/playlisting/etc), it's really easy to tell if a song is going to flop a few weeks before the premiere. That's the whole point, you see? The things were already clear a few weeks ago. Otherwise we wouldn't have made such assumptions.

I'm not gonna lie, though, I do find rather endearing the positivism of some members (Lee a few weeks ago, LoveKiller in general, Joseph, all my babes  ). I just wish some of you were more objective. It doesn't concern you Jonjo, I don't even remember who it was, but you know that you're grasping at straws when your argument to defend the fact Disco Love isn't going to flop is that the song is #1498 on airplay instead of #1500 like Gentleman was at that time (exageration, obviously, but I thought I might give it a go too  )

Disco Love is lush, just like Gentleman was, so I would be really gutted if this flops even harder than Gentleman. I'm hoping for something better for Disco Love, and hopefully one more single of the album (which is set to be amazing. :cheer:  )

I dunno really, it won't do 2 weeks in top 10. But it should do 150k total sales.
