ARTPOP for #1 :cheer:

So I saw a bee yesterday and I asked it WHAT DO U HAVE TO TEACH ME MR BEE and Mr Bee said that her 2019 album will be even better. UNCONFIRMED TBA 2019 LADY GAGA RELEASE is the real winner here. I can't believe it wasn't included! FIX

As much as I like Warrior, I'm glad Animal is above it, as it's stronger imo.

Think I'd agree, "Animal" has had a chance to settle over time and I still view it as an extremely solid pop album, fantastic debut.

I'm glad that "Lights" has finished higher than "Halcyon" too as I prefer the former.

"This Is The Life" is really amazing.

Very rare album, which I can listen from start to finish without pushing "skip" button.

Amy Macdonald is the best singer on a current pop music scene.

Amy Macdonald is the best singer on a current NO1CURR-pop-music scene.

That's better.

Amy McDonald's best (and only good) album was This Is the Life. After that... *insert Consuela gif*

I only discovered Amy's music a few months ago and she is absolutely fantastic! My favourite of her albums is 'Life In A Beautiful Light' but I agree that her albums are albums that are of the highest quality throughout the whole record!

Kiss, Demi and Robyn  Very surprised at the latter though, thought it would be a bit higher but then I am aware that Body Talk is generally held in higher regard.
I understand your point and people who think the same were easily able to choose not to nominate albums released in 2013 or not vote for them. We didn't want to include any restrictions as set rules though as someone may believe their favourite album was released this year however strange that may sound. For example if Diana's 'Music To Make Boys Cry' had been released now rather than September, it would easily be towards the top of my list I would expect just because I love the artist so much and every song she releases I love!

Not meaning to belittle your opinion in any way Ryan, but that is absolutely ridiculous. Rating an album you've just heard as (one of) the best ever is a jumping the gun a bit, but one not even out yet? Nah

I did vote for a couple of recent albums (namely Devotion) so I'm sort of throwing stones inside my gloriously designed glass house but I don't think having had a no 2013 albums rule would REALLY have been restrictive to all that many people. But I just love to complain so never mind.

Poor Gabriella, ROBBED.

Genuinely one of THE biggest surprises for me in the last few years. I liked her first album and On A Mission is a bonafide 11/10, but never did I expect her to come out with a wall to wall album of amazing pop as she did.

I did say that "I would expect" it to be one of my favourites which is based on 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' being my overall favourite on my list at the moment. I haven't actually ranked it there as it isn't even released. I'm sure any massive Lady GaGa fan would expect ARTPOP to be one of their favourite albums, but they won't actually know until it is released. Sometimes you just get this feeling when you hear an album if you know it is going to be one of your favourites of all-time. I said this about 'Kiss' last year and it is #2 on my list.

There are no 2013 albums in the top 60 anyway, so I don't really think it matters now. People have restricted it themselves enough, so my personal opinion is that we didn't need to have a "no 2013 albums" rule. We can agree to disagree! :kink:

50 albums remain but which albums will be in the top 30?

Well I guess, but I wouldn't expect a Madonna album or the new Queen Nic OPUS to rank within my top 50/100 of all time. I would love it if they did, but I would far from expect it.

Anyway I'm glad the top 60 is 2013 FREE so yes, lets move on from this. I like the presentation of the results thus far! And the SPEED (hint hint Jark you lazy cunt)

Really quite surprised My December wasn't at least top 40 tbh... I like all those albums, but I love My December, Stronger, Ceremonials and Overcome. I'm glad Lungs is higher than Ceremonials though.
At this point, the most manly person in the Top 30 will be Lady Gaga! :basil:
I don't quite know how Dido's Life For Rent made it in over her debut, I may have even voted for No Angel...
Because LFR is far better. LFR is the only Dido album that made any impact on me. Can't remember if it did enough to receive a vote from me, but it's definitely worthy of being in this chart. Beautiful album.

Gutted 'PCD' also fell out! Ugh. No Spice Girls or PCD but the overrated 'Chemistry' album by GA and 'Chasing Lights' by The Sats made it? :( Eww at all those Tayor Swift albums still to come (even if I do like a couple of them), but each to their own :P Florence to be out asap possible please and Justin to make the top 30, although I fear he may be out in the next list (the highest male album though!)

I'm glad Lungs is higher than Ceremonials though.

Totally, as strong as some of the tracks on "Ceremonials" are, "Lungs" is a lot more consistent overall I feel.

Hoping that "Loud" will win out of the Rihanna albums but I assume it's too much to ask for "4" to beat the extremely hit and miss "I Am...Sasha Fierce"?
