She tried to cover John Newman on BBC #Flop.

Actually, anyone with any objectivity thought that it was a good performance. I loved it and I'm not a fan of her music. But why am I not surprised that you didn't like it automatically...

Think it's bit a rich of people to be calling "Cinderella" dated when One Direction are essentially releasing "What Makes You Beautiful" part 456 again. Nevermind.

Lets be fair, they've learnt to add more shouty bits so they are developing their sound

B-)

 47. Cinderella - Diana Vickers

:right: 50. Millionaire - Scouting for Girls

 67. Are You Getting Enough? (feat. Miles Kane) - Professor Green

 101. Way In the World - Nina Nesbitt

I would laugh SO much if SFG overtook Diana and became the highest new entry  (until One Direction are released obviously)

Nina Nesbitt's career had been going from strength to strength, until now, mega flop :o

I'm confused by this. She's had an incredible amount of promo and airplay with her new single. She's also the current vevo lift artist  I expected another top 40 "hit".

As our faves could never match John Newman.

Though it may have given him enough of a boost to knock 1D down into #4 this week.

Diana Vickers should sing "Paramithiazomai" with british words. Based on her career chart of Cinderella.. :D

The top 10 LPB chart looks a bit dull with nothing new in there, pretty weird seeing the top 5 pretty static.
Passenger's gone back up to 6? What's brought this on? Anyway, Let Her Go should get a 13th(?) week in the top 10 which is pretty impressive for a song which didn't reach number 1. Also, I believe so far this decade, no song has had 13 or more weeks top 10 and not gone on to sell a million. Discounting Diamonds, which had 14 weeks, but is likely to reach a million in a few months! :P

I posted this list a couple of weeks ago, time to update :P

18wks Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know

17wks PSY - Gangnam Style

16wks Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

14wks Eminem feat. Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie

14wks fun. feat. Janelle Monáe - We Are Young

14wks Rihanna - Diamonds

14wks Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris - We Found Love

13wks Daft Punk feat. Pharrell - Get Lucky

13wks David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

13wks Ed Sheeran - The A Team

12wks Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe

12wks Flo Rida feat. Sia - Wild Ones

12wks LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock - Party Rock Anthem

12wks Passenger - Let Her Go

12wks Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer - Give Me Everything

I actually left 'Give Me Everything' off the list last time oops. 12 seems to be the magic number where you're almost guaranteed to be a million seller based on the decade to date, with 'Wild Ones' being the only major anomaly - 'Diamonds' and 'Let Her Go' are the only other songs on the list which haven't yet sold 1 million and they will do in the future.

For comparison, the 10/11 weekers:

11wks Flo Rida - Good Feeling

11wks Nicki Minaj - Starships

11wks P!nk feat. Nate Ruess - Just Give Me A Reason

11wks Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

11wks Rudimental feat. John Newman - Feel The Love

11wks Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble.

10wks Adele - Rolling In The Deep

10wks Bruno Mars - Locked Out Of Heaven

10wks Jessie J feat. B.o.B - Price Tag

10wks Labrinth feat. Emeli Sandé - Beneath Your Beautiful

10wks Rihanna feat. Drake - What's My Name?

10wks Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko - Stay

10wks Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

Only one more million seller in that entire list. A couple of others that might eventually trickle to a million but not for quite some time yet.

:ne: 181. One Direction - Best Song Ever :D

Over on the album chart:

1. One Direction - Best Song Ever - EP

12. Lauren Aquilina - Sinners - EP

 48. Millionaire - Scouting for Girls

 49. Cinderella - Diana Vickers

ROFL.

Diana has promo tomorrow though! She's on This Morning which I remember helped Lucy quite a lot last week! :D

I was just quite amused at Scouting for Girls currently having the highest new entry (especially when Diana, Pro Green and Nina were easily expected to be higher than them) Obviously that won't last long, but still

:kink: I'm surprised they weren't the highest new entry all along considering they are A-List on Radio 2!

Oh Diana :( I saw her and met her (again) last night, such a lovely girl and a star performer. She deserves better than this but never stood a chance sadly.
