Le Youth track is a grower at first I didn't like it, but every time I listen to the track it grows aand grows, must purchase from iTunes later., and help the track along :funky:

I've never understood their appeal, especially when they first broke through but I always had a feeling they would be a phase

I keep telling people this. It's the 2nd lowest-selling #1 of 2010 though (behind Dirtee Disco, which I doubt has overtaken since), but people on here act like those songs weren't hits sometimes. I see people talking about songs that sell over 300,000 as if that isn't an achievement as well.

It was! What a mess of a release, the remix was available for a while back in December I think but then was taken down and put back up in March. Then it was taken down again last week but it's available now for some reason.

I think it's still a pre-order but I don't know to be honest, this whole release is giving me a headache :( Update in any case:

Oh you're right, sorry. When I click the livepopbars iTunes link it always takes me to the Irish page for the song when possible, and on Irish iTunes it's still a pre-order :lol: Going directly to the Apple store on iTunes shows it's been released in the UK, so yeah. I do hope now that it's been released it can make some headway up the chart, cause having like a million versions is only going to lessen the chances of it getting top 10 on iTunes.

I wouldn't say so, it's only because of the several different versions being available. Could maybe still be top 50 combined?

 

He's been falling pretty steadily since release (2-7-10-14-13-16-21-26-30-40-46-...) Hasn't quite been as massive as the pre-orders seemed to indicate but it's done perfectly fine for itself, especially since it is his debut single and he's still a pretty anonymous artist. I wonder if we'll ever see anything else by him in the chart.

I can't believe that Toploader track is that high

Really hope 'F For You' keeps climbing up. :D That's the one track I'm keeping track of right now (well, 'True Love' by Pink is already top 20 so doubt it'll peak much higher on iTunes now).

I could actually see 'F For You' outpeaking 'You & Me' at the rate it's climbing up the chart :o Either that or it could be one of those annoying tracks that reaches the 11-20 section and frustratingly stalls there for weeks without ever quite cracking the top 10.

Really hope 'F For You' keeps climbing up. :D That's the one track I'm keeping track of right now (well, 'True Love' by Pink is already top 20 so doubt it'll peak much higher on iTunes now).

 

Why? It's utterly lacklustre compared to their other songs.
