July 21, 201313 yr Sorry to nitpick, I believe 'I Need A Dollar' peaked at #2 not #4. Yep correct, we will edit it for next week ;)
July 21, 201313 yr Radio 1 DJ's are unique in their inability to get facts correct when they're talking about something they've presented themselves just a mere 2 weeks ago. It's like Radio 1 alzheimer's disease. (like when Scott Mills interviewed Loreen and told her the UK gave 'Euphoria' 10 points, when it was actually 12...and it was Scott who read out the votes. Mindblown!!! ) I doubt they are unique at all. If you ask any newsreader (from any channel) about the bulletin they have just read, I'm sure they would have forgotten a large part of it. They simply read what is in front of them and a lot of it never really enters their conscious mind. For a perfect demonstration of that, look at Chris Morris's brilliant Brass Eye programmes where a string of celebrities read out utter garbage because they believed they were supporting a good cause.
