I'm a little concerned about the fact that the album is only at #62 on iTunes currently, it was around the 20's on Tuesday/Wednesday! I know iTunes count for little of the sales to the album chart but you would've thought the album would be higher now the day before release?

 

Hopefully she will have strong physical sales to counterbalance this though. :D

Throwback, Fight On, Stars and Coming Up For Air <3

After hammering album whole days since Friday I would say that my favourites are All In One Night, Waiting For Lightning, Firecracker and sooo many others like Only Human, Stars or Live Life Now. I really hated Coming Up For Air at the first time but today this song was walking around my day whole day, and now I'm like it! :music:

It would be great if they will decide to make Waiting For Lightning or Only Human for third winter and Xmas single, I would preffer more Only Human cause we already know that she can sing that pretty :smoke:

It's About Time would be a PERFECT choice I think! Or if she wanted a slower song, I'd like to see her release Waiting For Lightning.

There are some gems, and i agree with comments about it being cohesive and well-produced/themed. I do miss the fierce bitch from A Million Lights, and so that does make the album loose a few points.

I've only listened to the singles and 3 teaser songs from itunes so far. Soooo excited to listen to the rest tomorrow for the first time. I know that no one really likes messy little raindrop but it has hummingbird on it which for some bizarre reason has always been one of my favourite songs from Cheryl!! I have high hopes for this new album from what people have been writing. It will make my journey to work tomorrow so much more satisfying!

I don't really get this whole hate about MLR album, it has some great tracks to be honest. But still my least favourite:

'Throwback' is goooood! Reminds me a lot of Fergie's 'Glamorous'!

 

On first listen this album is good/strong, but on the whole I prefer 'A Million Lights' & '3 Words' but it's so much stronger and much more cohesive than 'Messy Little Raindrops'.

After not really getting the two singles at all, I was inclined to listen by 'Only Human' being so good. I am pleasantly surprised. I am in love with the Intro and Live Life Now, kind of reminds me of Beyonce's 'Ghost/Haunted' which can never be a bad thing - a bold move from Cheryl which could have just created my favourite track from her ever. Other highlights include 'Throwback', 'All In One Night' and 'Firecracker' (which reminds me of a Girls Aloud song country-fied). I think the main problem with this album is that the tracklist is way too long and allows some filler and some just terrible songs onto it, a compact tracklist of the 12 best from this would have absolutely put her other albums to shame. Unfortunately it's so inconsistent I can't really call it my favourite of her's even though the highs are so much higher than they have ever been.

I think this is definitely her strongest album as a whole so far, my early highlights aside from the singles are 'Waiting For Lightning', 'Only Human' and 'Fight On'. I'm still listening now and I'm just about to get onto the deluxe extra tracks!

Yeah it is! She's done really well with the mid tempo / ballads in this album. This is probably my favourite Cheryl albums. It makes me wonder why crazy stupid love was ever chosen to be the first single. I personally also love I don't care so was happy with that as a single.

Album at 6 in first midweeks. Expected her to be ahead of Ed/Sam. :\
