^ She wasn't on in the end because she's unwell (:() I was looking forward to seeing her on it.

FKA Twigs was her replacement though – pretty sure they couldn't have got a better replacement if they'd tried!

(Get well soon though etc.)

Had just presumed the BBC Youtube channel was slow to upload her performance(s) but that would explain it :drama:.

And yes, great work whoever got FKA Twigs at the last minute!

I wish she didn't add the dull yawn slow songs, it ruined the album a lot. She didn't need to make the album too long either. I was a bit disappointed, as I waited for a long time for this album to come out. :(

the ballads are all largely awful.

Not including 'You Should Know Where I'm Coming From' in that i hope :o

Just a casual bump to say this gets SO much better with time. I liked it initially, but it has a way of sinking even further in the more you listen. <3

there is a definite divide between songs that won't stop growing and songs that are doing exactly the opposite. still cannot get enough of drowning / beggin / warm water but waiting game and tiwifl in particular i just don't care for anymore :( it won't be anywhere near my album of the year but ALL of those (+ brain) are in contention for song.

and tbh her opus is still the fall over EP. every single song is perfffff

I was so wrong about Banks, "Drowning" and "Beggin For Thread" are really solid. However, like Chris says, some of the ballads are a bit dreich.

'You Should Know Where I Am Coming From' and 'Under The Table' are two of the ballads of the year guys.

The latter especially is such a grower. Heart wrenching.

Guys, did you listen to this remix of "Beggin for Thread" by Hotel Garruda & Gryffin ? If not go check it out but beware...you might want to listen to it all day long :)

Indeed it is~ having an absolute MOMENT to it right now :'(

Still adore the album, even more than i did last time i posted here. It's remarkable how much it grows on you when you give it the time. Urging those that haven't heard it to give it a chance because it's very special.

(can a mod edit the thread title/subtitle please)

Would rather a new full studio album but something to keep us going until then at least.

Also 'Beggin For Thread' seems to be gaining airplay very very slowly in the US... Not much but it could potentially become a bit of a sleeper hit if it continues - perhaps assisted by a remix if one of these is big enough for radio to get behind a la 'Summertime Sadness'.

here for ta-ku and really to LOL at the Chainsmokers one.

Beggin For Thread slightly taking off on US radio, maybe somewhat of a sleeper hit in future perhaps? :o

To celebrate 15 years since the release of this incredible album, BANKS is releasing 'Goddess: Unplugged' a stripped back version of it.

I cannot WAIT for this
