August 30, 201311 yr Nothing beats Sweet Nothing for me. His best from this era and only behind I'm Not Alone and Girls from his overall catalogue. He cannot do wrong, though. I love every single he's ever released. He's Godvin Harris for me  I don't think I could name an artist who has delivered as consistently as Calvin, his back catalogue is amazing with some huge records I know a greatest hits album would sound epic! I hope his success continues with his future releases as I've been a fan since day one and I love his music and sound!
December 1, 201311 yr Author I wonder what'll be next for Calvin? I mean he's just earned ANOTHER UK number one, I reckon it'd be stupid to do an 18 Months re-release including Under Control, do you think he'll include it on a new album? It's a great song though, his greatest hits is shaping up to brilliant!
December 2, 201311 yr I think 'Under Control' is meant to be from Alesso's album (although I can't find any information on that). Would be surprised if it doesn't end up being on Calvin's 4th album as well, although maybe it could be like 'I Could Be The One' I guess.
December 2, 201311 yr Are you sure about that? It's been marketed as a Calvin Harris song so I imagine it'll be from his upcoming album, although I imagine Alesso will add it to his album too (if he even is releasing one) as it's been successful. Or like you said it could just be a single to keep his name out there and it won't be on any album.
December 2, 201311 yr I'm not, hence the part in brackets! :P Pretty much just taking that from an unsourced claim on Wikipedia.
December 16, 201311 yr There seems to be a general consensus in here that he's one of the most consistent dance acts ever. His quality is always top form and his last era was huge and perfect. Under Control is another amazing release under his belt, I'm sure he'll continue delivering and I hope a new era will come sooner than later.
December 16, 201311 yr It's been marketed as a Calvin Harris song I agree with that, but technically aren't they joint leads? Since I always see the crediting using & or vs. (and ft. for Hurts). It's like with Earthquake, I Could Be the One, etc. They're joint leads as well, but most people just talk about the songs as if the first artist listed is the main artist (me included).
December 17, 201311 yr Found his songs from 18 months inconsistent. Liked Bounce, hated Feels So Close (such a repetitive song), not fussed on Let's Go (very generic), LOVED We'll Be Coming Back, really liked Sweet Nothing, Disliked Drinking From The Bottle (boring & overplayed), last 2 (I Need Your Love & Thinking About You) were pretty good but got bored of them quite fast. Best song on the album by an absolute mile is Iron, what a tune. Edited December 17, 201311 yr by Dobbo
December 17, 201311 yr I think Under Control is an Alesso song but it was marketed as a Calvin Harris song because this is what will create more exposure and airplay. I doubt it's part of Calvin Harris' new album campaign but I can imagine that will still feature on the album seeing as it reached Number 1.
