Calvin Harris has confirmed that he doesn't feature on Rihanna's new album.

 

The Scottish DJ told The Sun that while he's worked on potential tracks for the singer's eighth album, Rihanna's team didn't get back to him.

 

"No, I'm not on the Rihanna album," said Harris.

 

"I did a few things for it but they don't get back to you, there are a lot of people involved."

 

The Motion star added that Rihanna has a "strong idea" for her next LP: "She listens to everything, I know that, but she's got a strong idea and identity and an idea of what her album should sound like."

 

Harris referenced his collaboration with the singer for her hit 'We Found Love', explaining it didn't just occur because of their shared association with Roc Nation.

"It's not like they put me on 'We Found Love' because I'm signed to [Roc Nation], they did it because it's a f**king good song," he explained.

 

"It's okay because I'm working on my stuff and it's going fine."

 

GOOD. As much as I love 'We Found Love', Calvin's latest stuff is just boring.

Liking that she supposedly has a 'strong idea' for R8 too – cohesion please?

I hope she carries on her annual #1 streak then if she's performing on X Factor this year. :D Hopefully not on the final. I want her on a week where she can bag a #1.
