I've just realised that Arctic Monkeys have released on a Sunday. Hopefully this will allow them to gain another Top 10 hit finally, Do I Wanna Know? was ROBBED.

Is it just me that's noticed that all of Arctic Monkey's singles this era have been a question? :lol:

I didn't know the Arctic Monkeys song was out today, this is great ! I am glad they're not fading into a "album selling act" only like most other rock/indie bands. "Do I wanna know" did pretty well and a top 10 with the new one would be amazing too. Go boys!

I think Ellie needs to build up a good lead, otherwise I can see Avicii taking the lead again later in the week.

Wow go Ellie! Not my favourite from her by any means but as expected it's looking to be her biggest hit which is good to see. Also The Wanted doing well and Drake hopefully continuing to climb into the top 10 is a GOOD WEEK.

 

I think Katy could have had the #1 if she released tomorrow - the song is just made to smash so it's a shame to see her potentially holding back for a month.

Is there any chance that the new single by Martin Solveig is going to become a hit in the UK? :unsure: It does not seem to get any radio support, unsure about music channels playing the video.

It is a decent hit in german speaking countries as radio stations here love the song, i've seen it doing quite well in Ireland too. It's a good, summery song and it would be a shame if it flops :(

I'm probably the only one who actually thinks 'Burn' is Ellie's best single to date. It's jam packed with hooks throughout and makes the track such a brilliant pop song because of it. :D

 

Just listening to the preview now of the new Arctic Monkeys and it's really funky (that's funky pls don't misread it thnx :P ). This is turning out to be such a great era for the Arctics. Hmm, listening to the preview of 'We Own The Night' by The Wanted and it is better than 'Walks Like Rihanna' so kudos to them. Still doesn't come close to 'Glad You Came' though.

Is it even possible to get your warn percentage decreased? I'm always extremely well-behaved, and mine has never decreased.

I believe that it's impossible for it to get decreased, the only way is up! For the next 2 months at least i wont post anything that could deemed as controversial or offensive and i gurantee that my warn will stay the same as now.

Am I the only one who generally can't stand Ellie Goulding? I like 'I Need Your Love' but anything else she's released is borderline unbearable for me. I think 'Starry Eyed' is her worst.
