Hilarious at the amount of hate for Sonnentanz on here as Gaga loons think its a threat! Im not a fan of either but would rather something like Sonnentanz get there because people like the song rathert than the hyped gaga!

I'm obsessed with Sonnentanz. Would LOVE it to be the song to beat Gaga if anything did.

She needs to just drop the single very fast now or hold off and delay it until Sunday (which she most likely won't do). Turning into a mess :(

I do think Ellie could just take #1 this week if Lady Gaga doesn't drop anytime soon, she has got radio support and video airplay, plus 3 days ahead on LPB's. Lady Gaga will be better of to wait till Sunday now, I bet it will be a Friday release.

Sunday would be much preferable as she can then take advantage of decent sales along with the video impact. Releasing on a Friday is a very bad move. Hopefully she will have learnt from that mistake last time.

She just announced it... it will be a daytime release in the UK and all Europe TODAY, so... we lost anyway.

 at this campaign already. I bet it will be a Friday release too.

EDIT: Or not.

Well Tuesday is better than Friday I suppose. Just hope releasing it midweek won't harm Applause having reasonably good sales. Eeek. Come on Gaga :D

I think it would be better to go for a Wednesday release if the record company want a number 1, if they wait till Friday its not going to do any better than Born This Way...

Though the fact we still don't have a proper release date is still a joke, in a way I hope this does miss number 1 because if the song 'leaked' and the release date is not confirmed I think only the hardcore fan base will pay any attention to this strategy and it could cost her sales but it does look like a complete mess of a release

Sonnentanz should be number one the week after but if not it will probably be at 2 or 3 which is better than I had thought it would do given how well its doing on pre orders

In that case she will need a strong lead over Ellie. I still think Ellie will do it though, just have to wait and see how the week pans out.

Where? I checked her Twitter and she didn't 'just' announce anything.

I thought you lost already... your mind

Like she makes the decision?

I remember last time she herself said "I'm releasing the single on Friday because I can't wait two more days".

That might just be her claiming she made the record label's decision. I think many popstars do that.
