October 19, 201410 yr congrats hun, felt rly bad i couldnt honour the alliance with points this month altho u were close!!! just keep doin what ur doin x
October 19, 201410 yr Author As an aside, how ODD that I've managed to bag 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th placed finishes in the last 12 months. Narrowly grabbing those smashes time and time again!
October 19, 201410 yr Alliance only lasted a month oops  i think our alliance has gone beyond points for a long time now because we always had a mutual respect, and also how much we run the game (HA)
November 2, 201410 yr Author Walk The Moon for BJSC 70! US indie rock act Walk The Moon will represent FSR Rontvia in BJSC 70 with the song Shut Up and Dance. The song, which is far more poptastic than their usual output, is a swirling concotion of guitars, synths and power pop. Ricardo Delta said: "We've weaved in and out of various genres this year so it seems fitting to end the year with something altogether different. This is a radio earworm of the highest order and has climbed to No.1 in the Rontvian charts this week, after five weeks in the top ten. The video is perhaps one of our favourite's of the year too, channeling the best of 80s pop culture and a dash of Scott Pilgrim vs The World!'. 6JCLY0Rlx6Q
November 2, 201410 yr Well you're ending the year on a high with this, your 2nd best entry of the year after RAM! I've only really liked 3/10 of your entries this year though oop (I'm sure vice versa is true as well though).
November 2, 201410 yr Author Glad you like! Yeah, I guess our musical paths don't cross all too often but you do impress me with the odd gem every few months (I tend to point you highly when I do so iirc) so I'm glad we're not completely incompatible in BJSC terms!
November 2, 201410 yr Author *.* It's a shame the likes of Ojnoj and Juranabaijan are sitting this contest out, I feel like they'd be on board.
November 17, 201410 yr Author Rontvia round off the year with fourth everything Walk The Moon's Shut Up and Dance has somewhat surprisingly bagged a top five finish in BJSC 70, finishing in 4th place despite mid-table odds and predictions throughout the contest. It marks the second time in three months that FSR Rontvia has recycled an act who had previously only ever DNQ'd in BJSC and taken them to a 4th place finish in the final. To continue with the 4th theme, it is Rontvia's 4th 4th place finish and leaves us (I think) in 4th place in the end of year chart. Ricardo Delta said: "It's an astonishing result to top off a fantastic year, we finished 4th in 2012's end of year chart and then dropped to 17th last year, which was a disaster. It's great to be back on form despite two DNQ's. And with a win this year being just one of our eight entries that have finished top half in the final, we're pretty overwhelmed right now. Shut Up and Dance was a former Rontvian #1 and it's great to see the song go down so well across The BuzzJack World, who knows...it could be the next Hozier!' It marks the end of a varied year for FSR Rontvia: Public Service Broadcasting - Indie/alternative (15th) Helene Fischer - Schlager (12th) Sweet California - Trashy dance/pop (8th) RAM & Susana - Trance (1st) Andreas Bourani - Power pop (13th) Safari - Gospel (DNQ) Sheppard - Pop (DNQ) Goldfish - Deep house (4th) Minx - Progressive house (14th) Walk The Moon - Indie/alt-pop (4th) Thank you all for your support!
November 17, 201410 yr Apologies I couldn't find room for this in my votes and apologies in advance when it inevitably charts high in my personal chart when it becomes a UK hit. It was one of my many commiserations, good to see it doing so well for you. I'd be mad at you overtaking me YTD but about 3 other people did as well so I won't single you out, my heavy reliance on 2 big hits just finally caught up to me! I did still finish the year in the top 10 which I'm more than happy with :magic: Fitting that your 3 good entries of the year were the 3 most successful. You should try to appeal to Persephonia more often clearly.

I will make appealing to Persephonia a priority next year! :o 2015 somehow marking the ninth calendar year I have been part of BJSC...

I can only remember maybe three of your 2014 entries from memory too.
November 18, 201410 yr congratulations on ur sterling year!! always have your back even if not musically because you dare to be different and it works, and hoping the alliance can shine into the new year as we continue to sleigh the others DOWNE <3
December 27, 201410 yr Author Helene Fischer singing Atemlos Durch Die Nacht in as many different genres as possible in the space of three minutes. Love love love. k2b9kRWt8Cg
January 2, 201510 yr When I was in Germany last month I picked up 'Best of Helene Fischer' in a pharmacy (of all places)!!
January 2, 201510 yr Author Brilliant! I wish I had while I was there, I only bought the CD single. She seems to have returned to No.1 on iTunes Germany with Atemlos in the last couple of days! Must have been a new year anthem or something :o
