I think Katy will be #1 with 'Roar' considering all of her #1s have been some of her weakest singles so far (if not THE weakest).

The 'Roar' pre-order was made available only in Ireland and the UK and at the same time, so it would probably make sense that the UK release will happen the same release week as in Ireland in this case. I hope so anyway!

Yes and if you read that its the YouTube and twitter count that has pushed her to that spot. Succesful yes, but new Queen of Pop no, she has a lot to achieve before she can come close to reaching what Madonna has achieved.

I kind of agree. The pre-orders are definitely great but I can't help but feel it's the sort of release that does significantly better on pre-orders than its chart result indicates. I think it'll be rather frontloaded, but I'm definitely supporting it doing well just because it'd be so random.

Sonnentanz has one of the stupid video i've ever seen..Dumb models dance in slow motion and the song is so uninspired..Without meaning and soul..

Looks like there could be potential for 5 new entries top 10 again next week. Klangkarussell are probably the only absolute definites but I'd say DJ Fresh and Matt Cardle look very likely to go top 10 and Naughty Boy and Sean Paul could also have a pretty good chance. EDIT: And of course if Katy releases then she'll be a definite top 10 also.

 

Good to see the release schedule getting a bit busier after the recent staleness.
