There are all sorts of stories like this, and whilst I understand that this story is a lot more extreme, the Jimmy Saville rape stuff only came out of the woodwork this past year or so, right? If you *read* my post, you'll have seen that I made it explicitly clear that they were very different situations, but the same premise is still there. Besides, I've not seen Gaga making a fuss out of it? Sure, she named and shamed him on Twitter, which was totally fair IMO seeing as he's been out to get her. It's not as if she's been rambling on about it for months on end but not doing anything about it.

We're talking about a woman who's seeking attention by exposing an affair between her and another media figure, when it could have been handled differently, and without any attention - not a man who fiddled with children and filled them with fear for their whole lives, and felt like they could talk to nobody, and felt that they were worthless, and were ashamed of themselves. I just don't think it's unreasonable of her to tweet what she tweeted after being on the receiving end of his baiting for what has felt like years. It's not just your average person talking crap about you, she's quite powerless when it comes to the blogosphere, so I'd understand her (or any other celebrity's) frustration.

How would anyone think he threatened to kill her? She tweeted about it twice, OMG she has made the biggest deal of it EVER. Don't be so ridiculous, the fact she has only said something now after the bullying has not seized after her not rising to it for months proves that she has tried her best NOT to make it a big deal. His continuation of the bullying has pushed her to feel she has to make it into a deal now, and good for her.

You're right, but I feel that she should have made this tweet or something like it back when she first got it, which more than likely was when she was recovering from her surgery. It would carried more weight and done Perez more harm, showing him out to be a vile bully and also add strength to the idea of stamping out bullying when it happens. Moreseo than it would do now. This is all dragging on for no real reason. I didn't get my feleings on this out in the way that I wanted and went off on a tangent, which I apologise for. IIRC, it was during the time when Perez was following Gaga on the Born This Way tour in Australia and she became part of his "show". He then thought he was so close and BFFs with Gaga, thus pushed her to the extent that required her to answer some personal questions which she refused to. Tara then stepped in to stop him, in doing so the entire Gaga team basically kicked him out and that was what invoked this feud. Perez is just an attention seeking brat anyways. Yes, Gaga may have the image of an attention seeker but I do not think she tweeted this in order to gather attention. Heck, perhaps if Gaga tweeted this straight after he texted her, the general public's opinion of her wouldn't change and that she's doing it just to gain attention. Also Calum, comparing Gaga and saying she's just as bad as Perez is mind baffling because even if some of her hardcore fanbase are vile people, it doesn't necessary mean she holds responsibility for each and every individual who admire her. Whereas Perez HIMSELF go and scold at other celebs in order to gain attention so it's completely different imo. :P

Like has been said already, she is apparently a role model to them, so if she says that this shouldn't happen, or that shouldn't happen, then her fans will likely notice that and stop what they're doing because their God has said so.

It's already been said - why would she wait this long to just out him unless there has been something happening behind closed doors? It just seems to a few people that this random outburst from her is... TOO random, and a bit coincidental that she's in the media spotlight at the moment. It's hardly scraping the barrel to try and take a dig at her, it's asking a valid question about why this has even happened in the first place, but if it's wrong to question Gaga, then OK.

Perez has got away with his abuse for too long and im not just talking about Gaga because he's ridiculed Madonna and countless others in the past too. And I'd take that perspective advice from pretty much anyone but you in this instance.
