This new horror is getting very good reviews for a slasher film. Out next Friday, Aug. 23rd, UK. A family is targetted by a group of killers during their wedding anniversary but not everything is as it seems. One member decides to fight back but what is her real involvement? Lots of twists and turns in this slasher film. Said to be one of the best film releases of 2013.

Trailers look interesting enough for this. Good reviews too, so we could be getting a spell of decent horrors after what seemed like a big lull.

Seems confusion over the release date. I saw 23rd but some sites say 28th now.

Has anyone been to see this? I was slightly interested in going to see it but ended up giving it a miss.
Hopefully going on the weekend, heard mostly good things namely that it's made for horror fans. It's apparently a riot, a bit of a laugh and jump-out-of-your seat scary.
I saw this at the weekend. It's sort of a film you see once at the cinema and then never see again. It was good but there was nothing really new and

the only real jump scare was in the trailer

(Put that in spoiler tags as it sometimes annoys me when people say stuff like that before I've actually seen the film).

Yeah ... much like The Purge, decent enough but was not worth the hype it got really.

Agreed. It was like a mix of 'The Purge' and 'Would You Rather?' And as I found them both average, this was just the same. I want another slasher film like 'Scream'! :( Not groups of people terrorising a family in one place. :(

The blender bit though was amazing!!

Really enjoyed this. A clever little film that really shouldn't be taken seriously AT ALL.

I went from howling with laughter to screaming in the space of minutes and some of the plot twists & script were just too funny to ignore. For what it was trying to be (at least i think it was supposed to be a parody/comic-horror ) it did it very well.
