Posted August 19, 201311 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's playlisted on Radio 1. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. I can't believe how successful he's been with this era! Haven't seen the video yet, will look out for it. 33 - She Doesn't Mind was brilliant, but you should check out a lot of his early 2000s stuff too if you haven't heard it - Like Glue, Get Busy and We Be Burnin' especially :) 34 - I'm pretty sure it's a single, as R1 wouldn't have playlisted it otherwise. Actually I just checked and wikipedia says it's the third single too. Didn't like it much at first but it's a definite grower! This will probably be next week's biggest climber I imagine ;) 29 - Yeah, it should have at least done as well as WLR, it's a better single. 30 - You should check out the album, it's pretty good. 31 - Looks like it might actually, I was expecting it to be at least Top 40 by now. I love the Matt & Mel song (just bought it today actually) but it's not in my chart because I never hear it played on the radio... if I did include it in my chart it would probably be Number 1 ahead of Ellie :P
