- Josef Johansson looks like this year's Saade/Ewald from the sounds of Baby Baby (outside of the already present Ewald figures in Ewald and Zia obv).

- Live in fear of Linus Svenning - he does PASSENGER covers

- Ditto Mange Makers, who do idiot club pop songs about someone called Mange that sound like everything from the last three years, but somehow even more shit.

- Outrigger are the obligatory metal entrants. The Refreshments are the obligatory skiffle/rock n roll entrants who'll probably be doing a schlager song 50s-upped.

- I hope Pink Pistols are a group of MILITANT HOMOSEXUALS inspired by Rockin' The Ride's failure *.*

- Panetoz's biggest hit sounds like Upp oh Hoppa (but without the cultural appropriation because they're actually black)

- Mahan Moin does the kind of thing that Azerbaijan SHOULD be sending.

- Roshana & Molly are the member of Love Generation that left the night before they were announced for Melodifestivalen 2011 and Molly Sandén. Here's hoping for the sequel to Killing Me Tenderly.

- Sylvester Schleger is The Ark's drummer, so GOD knows what that's going to be.

- The Glorias are an electrorock girl group *.* Their Soundcloud stuff is FUCKING AMAZING.

Excellent lineup, sounds like there'll definitely be more schlager/uptempo pop than recent times and they're definitely appealing more to the old-skool fans with some of these names. Dr Alban though? :lol:

Without hearing the songs I'll assume that Helena and Elisa's songs will be my favourites in Heat 1! Will be interesting to see how Yohio and Sanna, both winners of the overall public vote that didn't go to Eurovision, do next year.

YOHIO really isn't guaranteed. Let's not forget The Moniker...

Yohio's a major star in Sweden, The Moniker was a guy that rode on the crest of a wave for a bit due to one catchy song.

 

I'd say that Helena's more in danger of falling to the Perrelli curse or something! Elisa will have the schlager/dansband fans on her side and Elisa's are currently more relevant in Sweden than Helena is.

The similarity is that YOHIO will likely be back with a totally different song, going by the writers. There's the risk of him alienating the fanbase if it's as Radio 2 as the songwriters normally are.

Alcazar in is GOOD. Honestly, there are some very interesting names in there, and even some promising song titles from the unknowns, looks like it could be a good one.
