Sanna Nielsen is the favourite, followed by Yohio, Anton Ewald, Helena Paparizou, Alcazar, Janet Leon and Oscar Zia. I'd be surprised if Sanna finally won, although it would be quite the moment to finally see her at Eurovision.

A CD featuring 100 Melodifestivalen classics is released next month, looks like an essential purchase! Or it would be if I didn't already have Absolute Schlager which covers most of it.

And out of the big three Alcazar songs (Headlines forever irrelevant), they chose the worst one. Granted it's still a 9/10 but still...

Not A Sinner Not A Saint is pretty weak in studio form but it's pretty difficult to argue with a perf as MAXIMAL as the one they gave for it in the final. And also one which got them second with the public after coming through AC, which is impressive by any standard.

They released a best of 2002-2011 box in 2011. This is pretty good value though, 100 songs for around £15. Shame about Caroline, one of the more popular non-winners I'd have thought!

God knows why Varga and Thorsten Flinck are included when the likes of Caroline and YOHIO aren't!

Might as well put this here rather than dragging up an old thread, there's a documentary to watch here about the making of this year's Eurovision by SVT (in Swedish, but there's some English in it, and you get the point anyway).
