Judy Collins Amazing Grace 67 weeks 8. Lady Gaga Poker Face 66 weeks =. Journey Don't Stop Believin' 66 weeks 10. Adele Someone Like You 65 weeks =. Jason Mraz I'm Yours 65 weeks These are total weeks on chart, for consecutive weeks see below. 1. Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feelin' 63 weeks 2. Adele Someone Like You 61 weeks 3. I only make 90 top 75 weeks for 'Sex On Fire' - initial run of 42 weeks, dropping out for two, another run of 37 weeks, then five further re-entries (2 weeks, 4 weeks, 1 week, 1 week, 3 weeks). Polyhex also says 90. 124 weeks top 100, for the record, presumably joint 2nd longest chart run when you include 76-100 weeks since 2007, behind Snow Patrol's 162.
August 26, 201311 yr Ah thanks Bre, that helps me to find the problem I have it as both numbers 68 & 71 for w/e 8/1/11 which of course can't be right! The number 71 week should be credited to "Radioactive" so I'll fix that. I'll double check my totals for the top 10 against the post by Chartblog (and I guess all the 30 weekers against his/her blog) so I may have a couple more queries later tonight.

August 26, 201311 yr Author Here are the Top 10 artists in the order of weeks spent on the UK Singles chart. 1,301 Elvis Presley 1,175 Cliff Richard 850 Rihanna 770 The Shadows 735 Madonna 672 Elton John 670 Diana Ross 665 Michael Jackson 479 Kanye West 476 Rod Stewart Totals are up to and including week ending 24th August 2013. Weeks only included where artists are specially named as a contributing artist on a hit. Therefore, Shadows hits with Cliff are included, but Michael Jackson hits with the Jackson 5 are not (unless it is listed as Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5). Likewise Diana Ross' total includes hits as Diana Ross & the Supremes, but not as the Supremes.
