Yes - although the gig is a separate event to the grand prix so not sure if that is still on.

How clean is our planet going to be when this is all over, very little traffic on the road, the air smells cleaner definitely , the streets are cleaner , very little litter , amazing really ;)

My way is going the opposite at the minute. I'm getting less exercise than normal.

 

The temptation of working from home is working longer hours and I'm not walking to my car in the morning either.

 

I need to be more disciplined about logging off. Not staying on for hours.

 

My husband is walking the dog further and further each day. I need to be doing the same :cheer:

I guess Robbie is kinda lucky in a way that he did not have an album release this year , I see Niall Horan has cancelled his world tour . Robbie will have loads of time in his hands at the moment for song writing as there is nothing much else happening ...

COME ON, ROBBIE Robbie Williams releasing a new version of Come On Eileen 40 years after Dexy’s Midnight Runners

 

 

 

 

IT has been a karaoke classic for almost 40 years but Cone On Eileen is about to get a big boost with a new version.

 

I can reveal Robbie Williams has recorded a new tune, which uses large sections of the party classic, including the iconic sing-along chorus.

 

But I’m yet to find out what Dexys Midnight Runners, who went to No1 with the hit in the UK and US in 1982, think of it.

 

Name-checking the single in the first verse before going into the original chorus, Robbie sings: “She takes her money and drinks it on a Saturday, her and her friends just p**sing the night away.

 

“Her mother says she’s always been a disappointment, another night another casual arrangement . . .  We take off our clothes.

 

“But she’s the best I’ve seen at singing Come On Eileen.”

 

Dexys Midnight Runners went to No1 with the hit in the UK and US in 1982

 

He sang the as yet untitled song during an Instagram Live broadcast late on Tuesday night.

 

He said: “I am going to sing you a song now that I probably shouldn’t sing you.

 

“I did it the other day and I had so much fun doing it.

 

“It’s one of mine and it’s unreleased. But it’s a song that you can get on board with because I think you might know a little bit of it already.” It’s the first new music from Robbie since his No1 album The Christmas Present last year.

 

I'm hoping Robbie can go one better with his version

 

 

Come On Eileen was last reworked in 2004 as Come On England by the band 4-4-2 to support England’s football team at the European Championships. It reached No2 in the charts.

 

We all need some fun in our lives right now, so here’s hoping Robbie can go one better with his version.
