"There is one thing about Robbie Williams - he puts on a great show!"

LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE

13 JUN 2022

25 years since he first launched into superstardom as a solo artist, Robbie Williams has this morning announced a tour to mark the occasion. Andrea was joined by Danny McElhinney Music journalist with the Irish Mail on Sunday to take a look back at some of his biggest career highlights.

Good podcast and opinion

I agree with what he says . I do not expect Robbie to have the same following he had when he was younger but that's nothing to be ashamed of & I am sure that he does not feel that way, he is very realistic & he knows the score . His days of selling a world record 1.6 million tickets in one day are over & filling Knebworth three nights in a row but it sure is something that he can be very proud of in his long list of achievements . I still think he puts on a great show & the guy in the interview is right when he says the smaller venues work really work if you want to get close to the artist , we saw that with the Roundhouse gig etc.

Just checked to my own reviews of concerts around decade ago and have found a post about Bryan Adams's.

And remembered this great dance single! So fantastic when music can magically return you in different period of your life.

Waiting for Lufthaus singles with such energy.

Also not just down to his ability to sell tickets - it will be October so can't be outside and if he's got an orchestra with him -that would sound much better at an indoor setting.

I'm guessing the tour will be quite theatrical.
