Sarah Jane Adventures  SOOO good. RIP Lis Sladen

All of that <3

Shame it just missed the top 100 :(

I actually had my votes done but then never submitted them eeek. Not sure where I put them though. I don't think I've ever watched Mrs. Brown's Boys but the same character/actor has had movies out here for years and they were all quite successful, even if I don't get the appeal of it myself. A lot of the humour was subtle back in the day, so I'm guessing that has changed since the new sitcom started.

I've actually been mildly interested in the premise of Teen Wolf (because werewolves are the best form of night-time monster), just need to commit at some point. Although if it ended up this low...

I only know Dawson's Creek for the term 'Dawson casting'. Doesn't sound particularly interesting.

Soz for going back a few weeks but Teen Wolf is quite good, if you're still interested in watching it. Some of the acting is kinda bad but the story is interesting enough and the plot thickens with every episode. It's in batches of 12 episodes so it's easy enough to catch up!

Dawson's Creek = 90s gold.

I think I'm going to try it after I've finished watching Fringe (which I'm almost done with 3). Batches of 10-13 are generally great for me with dramas, enough time to get a story out but less chance of dreaded filler, so the length looks very helpful.

On that current batch, only one I've watched are a few Sarah Jane episodes (mainly ones where the Doctor cameoed) but yanno, kids version of already quite kiddy TV show, not something I was going to commit to.

Glad to see there's love for SJA even though it ended up at #100. I can't believe Community ranked so low!
I cant believe I forgot to include Higher Ground on my list, one of those teen series that really made an impression on me back in 2000

100th ☆ Popular ☆ 103pts

September 29, 1999 – May 18, 2001 on The WB

One of the few non-sitcom TV comedies that defined the genre. Absolutely incredible cast, insanely funny characters, interesting plot and ridiculous stories. If you think about it, Popular has SO much in common with Community. But that's not the point. Abrupt ending is what keeps me furious about it all. If only it had a proper ending, it could've been a great 2-season piece of FUN. But sadly it got cancelled before anyone could say MARY CHERRY and we'll never know how that cliffhanger at the end resolved. SADFACE.

15 June 1983 – 2 November 1989 on BBC One

Each series set in a different era, this comedy followed the characters of Edmund Blackadder and Baldrick, played by Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson respectively. The show gradually got closer to present day as it progressed, starting at the end of the British Middle Ages and series four ending up in the First World War. In 2004 it was voted the second best British sitcom of all time (behind 'Only Fools and Horses') but I personally wasn't keen from the parts I saw during History class.

98th ☆ Sex & The City ☆ 105pts

(Favourite character: Samantha)

 [100-98]

June 6, 1998 – February 22, 2004 on HBO

Set in New York City and partly based on a book of the same name, this show following the lives of four women (played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon) went onto massive success and turned into a big brand, spanning six seasons on HBO, two movies and a prequel focusing on Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker's character who narrated the original series) that started earlier this year on The CW. The show itself had widespread critical acclaim and tackled many relevant sex-related issues. Still broadcast in syndication worldwide, this was a defining show for both HBO and the genre.

97th ☆ The Thick Of It ☆ 108pts

19 May 2005 – 27 October 2012 on BBC Four and BBC Two

A British comedy focusing on the workings of the government and focusing on a minister and his advisers, this show, highlighting the struggles and conflicts between politicians, switched to BBC 2 following two short series and a couple of specials on digital channel BBC 4. The upcoming twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi, played the role of Malcolm Tucker, the Director of Communications for the government. Creator Armando Iannucci recently created the similar 'Veep' for HBO in the US which itself is still to come.

96th ☆ The OC ☆ 108pts

Fun fact. The Russian name if this show is THE LONELY HEARTS as 'Lonely hearts' translated into Russian and abbreviated is O.C. So annoying. So, The O.C. (short for THE ORANGE COUNTY if anyone didn't know) is like this amazing show about teens and their troubles. Mostly about one poor teen who was 'adopted' by a rich O.C. family and him falling in love with one weird rich chick. I still can't believe they could do THAT at the end of season 3! Oh well, that story was probably never going to end the way I wanted indeed. Anyway, this show is absolutely iconic and is a MUST to watch for everybody.

Seth and Summer are probably the couple with most chemistry I've ever seen on American TV. Or on TV EVER actually.

(commentary by Pavel)

The OC was utterly f***ing fabulous. Seasons 1 and 2 especially. EVERY major character was so well drawn and acted that you liked them even when they were behaving badly (which in the case of Julie and Caleb was all the time). Actually I didn't like Jimmy very much, too wet, but the others slayed. Sandy in particular was the definition of LEGEND. Coolest TV dad ever.

Popular was like an early Glee / Desperate Housewives. SO GOOD. Some of it is a bit dated now but it is just so watchable, I remember being weirdly addicted to it when I was younger.

Adore Sex & The City too.

Wasn't Popular done by Ryan Murphy, the creater of GLEE?

The OC got more fabulous after Marissa left. Sorry not sorry. Taylor Townsend was fab-u-lous.

95th ☆ Alias ☆ 108pts

(Favourite character: Sydney)

 [76-95]

September 30, 2001 – May 22, 2006 on ABC

Spy show extraordinaire, Alias was a critical darling that aired on ABC. Tragically suffering from being on ABC and a decline in quality lead to it only lasting 5 seasons. Its early seasons are among the best on TV! The show won a Golden Globe for Jennifer, 4 further nominations and 9 Emmy Nominations. The CIA used the central character in a 2003 recruitment video!

Sydney Bristow is a spy but not in the way she thinks. After her boyfriend is murdered she finds out the black-ops division she works for isn't actually affiliated with the US government but with a terrorist organisation. A drop in visit to the real CIA ensued and Sydney begins her mission to topple the terrorists for good. A bit of vengeance, love and plenty of undercover hijinks follow over the course of the 5 seasons. As with everything else I have been asked to write for I can't recommend it enough!

Series star, Jennifer Gardner, is most commonly seen in Regina's signature but please don't let that put you off this excellent show.

94th ☆ Brothers & Sisters ☆ 110pts

(Favourite character: Sarah)

 [63-94]

September 24, 2006 – May 8, 2011 on ABC

Airing behind Desperate Housewives for all five seasons and not quite reaching the same ratings highs, this next ABC drama focused on the Walker family in California. It revolved around the problems that the family had in the wake of the patriarch's death and the secrets that were revealed as a result with focus on romantic and sibling relationships. Sally Field won an Emmy for her lead role in the show and other cast members included Calista Flockhart, Emily VanCamp who now leads ABC drama 'Revenge' and Parks & Recreation's Rob Lowe.

93rd ☆ Rizzoli & Isles ☆ 111pts

(Favourite character: three votes for each of the two leads!)

July 12, 2010 – present on TNT

This Cable show airs on TNT and was recently renewed for a 5th season. Unfortunately the show has also recently suffered a huge loss with the suicide of Lee Thompson-Young who played Detective Barry Frost. RIP. Scoring the second highest cable TV debut in history this show has been a hit from the outset and it's not hard to see why! Inspired by the book series by Tess Gerritsen, the shows back story is based on the novel 'The Apprentice'.

Following Boston homicide Detective Jane Rizzoli and Chief Medical Examiner of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Dr Maura Isles the show has plenty of twists and turns, season long arcs and moments of comedy to keep everyone happy. With their wider team they solve the cities murders in a slightly less gory fashion to Fox epic Bones, which it is most comparable to. Online the show is known for it's fans believing heavily in shipping Rizsles, that being a lesbian relationship between the two leads.

92nd ☆ Gimme Gimme Gimme ☆ 112pts

(Favourite character: Linda)

 [87-92]

8 January 1999 – 14 December 2001 on BBC Two and BBC One

Premiering on my third birthday, this BBC sitcom, using the ABBA song of the same name as the theme, ran for three series. Kathy Burke played loudmouth and Buzzjack fave Linda, known for her red perm and white glasses, with James Dreyfus starring as her gay flatmate Tom. Much of the humour sprung from innuendo and the show was an initial success, earning a channel upgrade following the first series.

91st ☆ Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 ☆ 115pts

(Favourite character: Chloe)

April 11, 2012 – May 13, 2013 on ABC

Featuring Krysten Ritter and James Van Der Beek playing a version of himself, this short-lived ABC comedy followed June, a woman who moved to New York for her career and ends up moving in with Krysten's character Chloe, the "bitch" referred to in the amazing title. The two went on to form an unlikely friendship before the show got pulled early into season two. Getting off to a decent start after hit 'Modern Family' in April 2012, very dodgy scheduling killed both this and 'Happy Endings' off during the previous season. :( Still, it amassed a fair amount of fans here during the short life-span.

Body of Proof top 90 *.*

Gimme Gimme Gimme!

Such brilliant comedy, actually in the mood for watching that now, but CBA... "LET'S PLAY CASUALTY"

Brothers & Sisters. I loved this show so much :( and it stars megatalented superstar Rachel Griffiths.

Apartment 23 is a future classic isn't it.

Apartment 23 is amazing and produced one of my favourite characters ever in Chloe

Such a shame that it is cancelled already :(.

Apt 23, Alias, R & I - all AMAZING. <3
