Second single called 'Let It Go' and is released May 27th, so should be coming soon then.

Popjustice claim it is another 'dance' song in the same vein as Elephant, but 'better produced' and they believe that it is 'produced by David Guetta'.

David Guetta sounds a good move. As long as it's done in the Titanium way of doing things, this could be potentially fantastic.
I think David Guetta and Alex will be a fantastic combo, whether it's something like Titanium or a more generic track like Turn Me On I think it'll be fab either way! I think for her it'd be best to have something in the vein of Titanium though, because the more generic dance sound didn't work fantastically for her with Elephant (it did OK I guess but an Alexandra Burke comeback really should've gone #1, although arguably you could blame the ridiculously held back release).

I disagree. I would have agreed about "an Alexandra Burke comeback really should've gone #1" had it had proper radio support and not a stupid, petty "we'll playlist this because it looks to go top 3 this week, despite being a held back release and it won't make us look silly" sort of support. Radio 1 got onto it 3 weeks too late imo. It could have been bigger I think.

I can see what you mean (if Radio 1 dropped the vendetta it would've cruised to no.1 admittedly) but I still think the fanbase she has and considerable TV play should've got her there, especially on a fairly quiet week, but alas we know it didn't.

They should leave it 2/3 weeks to premiere Let It Go, that would be perfect timing.

Can't wait for 'Let It Go', went off Alexandra for a while when she was a guest judge. She can be a bit arrogant and OTT at times but she is a talented girl so I really hope this does amazingly well and sells the album somehow. No matter how successful the single is I'd say platinum status would be best we're looking at this time round. ;)

She definitely wasn't arrogant on X Factor. She was confident, pretty big difference. The general public in this country are such whingers, nobody's ever happy unless they've got something or someone to smite. I guess people just couldn't handle Alexandra's British helping of black sass. I'd take her over that fake bitch Kelly every single time.

I agree with Jark, I thought she just had a big fun personality. Annoys me that people think she's annoying, same goes for other females with big personalities such as Jessie J ... do the public prefer it when they're as boring and as dull as Alesha Dixon and Cheryl Cole?

Apparently they do! (I also don't get the hate for Alexandra Burke or Jessie J - they have opinions and they're a bit loud. Deal.)

Do we know if the album is being released to tie in with Let It Go?

I didn't say I found her arrogant on X Factor, I've just always found her a bit arrogant and up herself at times. That seems to have calmed down since she's come back with Elephant and in recent interviews she's been fine, being in love is obviously doing wonders for her. So no, nothing to do with having someone to smite and jumping on the bandwagon. I also don't like Kelly either, yes she's a fake.

I agree with you Jack, Jessie is absolutely amazing on The Voice, bonkers but in a good way. Without her on the panel it would be poo tbf.

This. People here are ridiculous. Not everyone in life is monotone.

They are. Her brother just said on Twitter that the song will premiere around the 10th of April alongside the video. He said there will be no big gap between the video and the single premiere, the impromptu radio shit was accidental. That HITS DJ messed it all up, and I think that annoyed Capital and they snubbed her, same way they did to One Direction. All the fans were requesting it and they were ignoring them, and they ignored her so much that she wasn't even on the albums of 2012 to look forward to. But they had the Saturdays and Cheryl on there who at the time didn't even have confirmed releases.

Ah that's great timing ^_^ Not too long before but not too soon - and not long to wait either to hear it!

If there's not going to be a big gap between the single premiere and the video, then I think the song will premiere quite a bit later than April 10th because I don't think Alex has even filmed the video yet and surely it'll take more than a week to edit it and send it to music channels.

She's in rehearsals for it, and the vid has its shoot this week IIRC. Anyway, as long as it's hot it should be okay. And they stop this airplay vendetta against her....SMDH, you KNOW they'll be here for Cheryl like vultures to a corpse

Last day of rehearsals! Video shoot tomorrow. #Leegggoooo

An Alexandra stan has been chosen to be an extra in the video, so we should get a little review tonight!
