I think Start Without You shits all over Elephant & Let It Go, nice summery track much better than alot thats charting now imo

It actually angers me how 'Start Without You' gets to #1 and this completely bombs. No justice at all. :(

 

Start Without You had airplay though, it was playlisted by Capital radio, Radio2 and the commercial radio stations, this was the last song from Alex

to get airplay on Capital radio.

Start without you was a terrible song, it totally had no merit other than her live performances of it.

Does anyone actually know what happened with Alex and Capital. Kevin Hughes and James Barr will still mention Alex on twitter yet she never gets played.

30. Alexandra Burke - Let It Go

 

Holy Crap, this is actually going to miss the top 30, it will only continue dropping throughout the week!

 

Predictions? I'm going with #32

It's already falling, I can see it peaked at about #32 and spending one week top 40 :mellow: I hope it doesn't freefall and miss top 40 anyway, being this low in the first place is embarrasingly bad as it is - the worst I remember a big UK singles act doing with a pre-album single was The Saturdays when My Heart Takes Over got to #13! Duffy missed top 40 (just) with Well Well Well Well but she was an album seller who happened to catch a massive hit and a further top 10 imo.
Britney Spears only got #22 with 'Till The World Ends' if that counts! :( Now THAT was an injustice!
Oh god it was :( I was just thinking Uk acts who are popular though, Britney had a messed up release tbf and her popularity was gone. Still another example of a big star flopping with a pre-album single! Alexandra is possibly the worst example of this though.

So true, she just comes across so unlikeable..

 

She has loose women, that may help her a little but cant believe this is doing so bad.

The song is in at #19 in midweeks? How? The song didn't even make top 20 on iTunes. :lol:

 

I feel very bad for her. I love the song, and I agree with the people saying it's better than "Start Without You". That was a horrible song, along with that horrible video. I don't know how it got #1.

 

Does anyone know why Capital seem to hate her now?

Downloaded the single earlier - Couldn't bare to see it struggling so much and every sale really will count! I was not going to bother and just get the album next week but that is when i thought this would easily be a Top 5 smash! :unsure:
Sad thing about Alexamdra Flopping is it really weakens and cheapens X Factor as no one apart from Leona ( and that isnt as reliable as it once was) is managing a great career out of it.
