April 5, 201411 yr I don't think we've seen the last of Christina, I'm sure some record producer will snap her, I thought her performance of the Power Of Love was exceptional.
April 5, 201411 yr Not even suprised Jermain won his last performance won it for him I reckon plus he had the most followers and the most support on twitter out of all the four finalists .

I thought I'd be the only one who saw it coming  I didn't look at the followers each one had etc. and I skipped the performance of AIATY because it was bad enough the first time around but I really had a feeling he'd win.
April 5, 201411 yr It was very nice of Christina to promote Kaiser Chief's new single for them on The Voice. Just outside the top twenty on iTunes so it seems to have worked fairly well.
April 5, 201411 yr Erm guys. Jermain deserved to win on that final performance. It was practically faultless! I'd have personally preferred Christina Marie, but Jermain flew me away, and I would've been surprised if he didn't win.

Overall I preferred Christina Marie but I cannot deny that Jermain's final performance was outstanding. As long as he doesn't try and become a British Luther Vandross he could have a decent career. It would help if he developed more of a personality.
April 6, 201411 yr I thought Jermain was dreadful. But having Aloe Blac there probably confused some of the British public and likened the two together. I think judging on performances... Christina Marie or Jamie should have won. Wasn't that Kylie duet sensational? Edited April 6, 201411 yr by d__
April 6, 201411 yr Yet again the British public got it wrong for the 3rd time. Jermain shouldn't have even been in the final. He just makes me fall asleep. I hope his album flops. Christina Marie was the best of the whole competition by miles. She can sing anything from ballads to pop to rock. Her collaboration with Kaiser Chiefs and her rendition of Coldplay's Fix You were perfection. I wouldn't even have minded as much should Sally or Jamie won - but Jermain :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:
April 6, 201411 yr I understand the criticisms of Christina-Marie but I feel the shouty bits of her performance were only because she was trying to secure votes by giving the biggest performance she could. She would easily be the most successful popstar out of any finalists across the three series as she has a likeable personality and has a great voice that brings emotion to the songs. In the first 3 minutes of this video, her voice is more subtle which is why I think she should continue to record music and see what she comes up with: DnuBx7TY3zQ
April 6, 201411 yr I think Christina-Marie is exceptionally talented and has the potential to be great. But I think that is dependent on there being a huge amount of investment in her both in terms of the music and her market positioning. Her team would have to get stellar songs (or maybe a big feature or two a la Jess Glynne) and put time and effort into figuring out the best way to market her IMO. She's kind of a previous generation artist that isn't in any way assured to succeed today due to her vocal ability alone. Also, I don't really agree about her having the likability factor - not that she's unlikable but I found her a little insincere yesterday. (She is stunning though so there's that) That's why I think it's interesting that a lot of people, and indeed the show itself, were alluding to her being by far the most commercial, i.e: vote for the person whose album you would buy etc. I actually think Sally has the clearest artistic identity of the three and could sell albums (again, provided there's a certain level of investment in her). Jermain definitely has likability and his first-singing-black-prime-minister shtick sets him apart but I have no idea how they're going to market him. I'd like to see him do well though.

April 11, 201411 yr So the ratings are up on season 2, as a show it was a win-win this time - but it STILL won't have a big-selling top-40 chart artist. But I guess, the BBC are satisfied. I'm surprised Leah McFall still hasn't released anything, it could have helped the ratings even more, and there would be less problems in gathering the contestants for Season 4.
April 11, 201411 yr It has been confirmed that Kylie Minogue will not be taking part in the next series. The possibility of her returning for series five is not mentioned but I assume it could happen. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-26985230
April 11, 201411 yr Maybe they'll copy the US version and alternate between the judges. Jessie could do series 4, then Kylie series 5?
