Cley next the Sea is a lovely little village along the coast, about 30 miles or so from me. The place was the site where the US helicopter went down recently.

It is also known for the unexpected and rare sighting of a white crowned sparrow back in 2008. This event raised over £6,000 for the restoration of the west window of the church (through a traditional charity collection) and the bird features in the stained glass.

Enjoy North Norfolk ‏@NorthNorfolk Feb 4

A place to sit and think... a horizon-facong bench at #Cley marches today. Heaven on Earth. #NNWinter http://t.co/VkmBgSvrBx

Is this place near you Spark  , looks fab

Quite a way from me, over 2 hours drive, I'm nearer London :nocheer:

North Norfolk is lovely

A 2 hour drive is a drop in the rain gauge for me.....considering last year I drove more than 15,000 miles to/from temporary jobs or interviews....

You sure did a lot of driving Biggy, I was exhausted just reading about it  so I can imagine how you felt.

How are you getting on with the new job !!!

Well, I've only been there a week.....a lot to try and take in/remember as to how things are done for the facilities* for which they provide prescriptions. *(facilities=nursing homes or assisted living facilities)

Today I start the evening shift, 3.30 to midnight local time.....

You want your wits about you giving our prescriptions ...

Hello. Sorry for my absence but I've been on giraffe posting duty :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:. The petitions having failed to save him, I'm now in official incandescent with rage mode. Copenhagen Zoo's Facebook page has been taking a right hammering.

Anyway, Robbie will just need to wait. -_-

To add to the woes of animal conservation, I think I also read about Longleat's lioness and her cubs somewhere.
That was a disgrace putting down an animal because of a stupid EU law , how did they let it happen in the first place

I'm not setting foot in a zoo ever again. Any zoo. :arrr:

Anyway, on a happier note, I've got snow :cheer:

I saw some photos of Limerick on the telly Tess. And the plane blown over at Shannon airport.

We had no wind. :o
