Hello (eventually! <_< ). I've been having t'internet connection problems all week. And it's not even been windy enough to blame the neighbour's tree this time. Don't know what the reason is

Very slow tonight as well. Bah... <_<

So does anyone have any theories where the missing plane is? I'm quite intrigued.

Oh well. No-one here :(

I shall go watch my dvd. I'm watching the Boxset of 'The Bridge'. It's very very good. Almost as good as 'The Killing'.

Night Night

Internet problems down here as well. Not sure if the provider was having problems, but we missed the commentary on the Carlisle United game through a very slow connection and the router was having problems as well.

Just saw, in passing, an online article stating, apparently, a Chinese satellite MAY have spotted that downed Maylasian plane....

Sorry I missed ya, Jups, boot, me schedule has me all wonky these days, with trying to remember when I work, when I'm off.....

I cannot believe in this day & age that it was not picked up somewhere, I mean these they can just see about anything they want to , . It's terrible for the families of those passengers on that plane

Hi all. I've got shingles at the moment. Been sick since Weds. That's why I haven't been online. Just thought I'd better let you all know. :(

I hope they find it soon one way or the other, the familes must be going crazy

Hi

I'm still alive. Just. Doped up on antivirals and painkillers. My back is total agony. Didn't fall asleep until 6am this morning. I managed 4 episodes of Game of Thrones and saw the Australian 4.30am plane press conference live. Not hopeful for tonight either. If the 'debris' is from the plane, what the heck was it doing flying away down there into nothingness? It makes no sense....

Where on earth did you pick up that virus from Jups  , hope it does not last too long

No idea about the plane, maybe it's not wreckage at all , they mentioned that stuff falls off ships all the time into the worlds Oceans

Well, I'm going to hazard the guess that Jups had chicken pox as a child, since, the same virus that causes chicken pox causes shingles, which is a form of herpes virus....

i thought it was an old persons disease -_-

 Jups won't thank you for that comment.

It certainly isn't an old persons disease, anyone can get it, whatever age.

:o

How very dare you! :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

Anyway, I'm getting a bit better. Slowly but surely. At least the itching has stopped but I'm still in a fair bit of pain.

And Biggie is correct. Doctor Quack told me that when you get chicken pox as a child, the virus never actually leaves your body. It goes dormant and basically hides in your spine. Then (for unknown reasons) it decides one day to wake up. And it moves into whatever nerve it finds leading out from your spine. And follows that nerve all round from back to front or even up into your face. And that is shingles. And boy is it sore!
