I'm watching a terrible film. It's a musical. I so hate musicals. Why I decided to rent it I've absolutely no idea <_<

The music is ok but the leading lady is about a foot taller than her boyfriend. In flat shoes. He must have had a crick in his neck throughout the filming....

What musical is it? I detest musicals as well. The only way I'll tolerate a musical is if I like ALL the songs in it - or it is an hysterically funny musical and the humour will make up for the songs I don't like. Hence - the only musical films I like are The Sound of Music and Singing in the Rain!

It was 'Sunshine on Leith'.

 

The only 2 musicals I can tolerate are Calamity Jane and High Society. -_-

'Sunshine on Leith' is also title to a Scottish duo's album, the duo being twins Craig and Charlie, forget their last name at the moment, calling themselves The Proclaimers...*starts singing their hit choon (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles....* :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Shame on you! I did my civic duty - but I had to drive my husband to the polling station and physically march him up to the booth! He said it was a waste of time - and he's probably right. Despite joshing me that he was going to vote for Nige - he went for Labour in the council election (because the woman who was standing taught his photography night-class and he liked her) and in the Europeans - he said he'd voted for a pirate!

 

Tell you what though - it is worrying how popular the UKIP has become. I'm just counting down the days now when the Tories decide to make an alliance with the bast*rds - they do appear to be one and the same party underneath it all! I've told my son when that day comes - to get the hell out of this country!
