Had a fabulous time & really valued how safe it is back home compared to Cape town where you had to be careful where you were going, was thoroughly enjoyable though

Went to the 'TEST iamspamspamami; for dinner which was booked since last year, there is a waiting list -_- , have to say I would prefer my bag of chips from my local

all we got was bits on plates, we had seven courses & they added together they would hardly make up a good sandwich

Almost sounds like one needs to eat a full 3 course meal beforehand....

It felt like bloody November today. Rain and high winds ALL DAY

Manchester sunny spells 18 degrees for Sunday. :)

Got up to 32 C here today in my corner of Florida USA.....that said, summer actually never leaves here in Florida....feels like temps of 46-50 C will be here soon enough....

Really sad to read that Muhammad Ali is so ill.

A real sporting icon, character and legend.

I thought that Laura, a great man

He was a real fun guy & great at interviews , watched a documentary about him last night on BBC , He gave & took a hell of a beating over the years, cannot have been good for him health wise ..

Yay for tropical storm warnings...my corner of Florida's under one through early Tuesday morning along with flood watches/warnings due to Tropical Storm Colin in the southern Gulf of Mexico...just hope I can make it to work and back home for my Monday with all the commotion that's headed my way....

Ali surely had a way with words...

I did make it home Monday night, going about 70 miles out of my way due to a major bridge being shut down due to the 45 MPH sustained winds....of course, I called off from work Tuesday due to a bunch of flooding around me for Tuesday due to the rains just on Tuesday from that pesky tropical storm...

all the home countries doing brilliantly. :) It's a shame England playing Iceland next as I wanted them to do really well. They still might.

I'm sat with the TV on watching the EU ref results.

Very very close - 50.6% leave at the mo.

I watch the results for hours Laura, I was not that surprised at the result

Will be interesting to see what the negotiations will throw up in the next two years... you know us Irish were sent back twice to vote in EU referendums because the Government of the day did not like the result & said we were all stupid . I voted no both times so I guess I was one of the stupid people they were talking about .. Glad I stuck to my guns & that is what people should do .

I think there will be interesting times ahead , who will replace Cameron & will it be the poison chalice job given the results of the referendum being so close

It's very unsettling times ahead.

Labour shadow cabinet dropping like flies, no Prime Minister. It's hard not to feel that the whole country is in complete chaos. :(

There seems to be a great big vacuum where a leader should be.
