Trump appears to be a walking disaster so far from what I can see. North Korea, "security" policy over who can fly where... :P

He congratulated & admires Ireland greatly on how it did not raise taxes to get us out the financial crisis back in 2010 , he also says that he will esure that all American comapies here in Ireland will relocate back to the US ...that's the Donald for you, it's called a backhanded compliment <_<

Awful news in Manchester tonight. :(

And there were some buzzjack members at that concert, as well, from what little I've read in the lounge thread about the attack....

The scary thing is that it can happen anywhere nowadays but you just have to keep going & try & not think about it

Yes it can happen anywhere. No where is completely safe anymore.

Wound up getting a new car last weekend, as the one I was driving, a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, was needing more in repairs than was honestly worth. I got a 2016 titanium gray Kia Soul with 8676 miles on it. Nice car, and I'm still getting used to it.

I drive a red Mini Cooper with a black roof. I love it. I think mine is a 2012 plate.

Sounds very nice Mr B ...do you do 'miles' in the US not Kilometers

I work near the Airport on an industrial estate which has many roundabouts on it & a dual carriageway, last week I met a lady driving the wrong way around the roundabout , she was from Iowa in the Unites States, I explained to her that she should enter roundabouts from the left , she said, thank you Mamm etc,etc & then proceeded to do a three point turn on the roundabout  , I had to stand in the middle of the road & stop the traffic so she would not get killed, she then proceeded to drive up the carriageway the wrong way , I gave up after that , I am not sure if she is still alive or not

The odometers here in the US, for the most part, still register in miles instead of kilometers, although many of the newer cars these days one can set it up to view the overall amount traveled in the vehicle in either miles or kilometers....just a quick calculation, I multiplied the 8676 miles by 0.62, the 0.62 being the number to convert from miles to kilometers, and got 5379.12 km put on what I'm now driving....the car I traded in had 148,023 miles or 91,774.26 km..... for several decades now here in the US a car speedometer is set up to read both m.p.h and km.p.h.

I texted a photo of me new car to me older brother, and he asked me if any giant hamsters came with the car, to which I replied no....telly commercials here in the US used guys dressed as hamsters to sell the Kia Soul at one point....thus me brother's query....

Is it Tess? Maybe I'm a Posh Bird and I didn't even know.

I was so proud of my little car when I was 23 that as soon as the kids grew up and I didn't need to give lifts anymore, a Mini was my first choice.
