I don't get how Work is a flop when it was the fifth single from a platinum album, sold over 100K and went to #22 even on the week of Michael Jackon's death? If anything that's a success.

Although it was so funny when Rochelle said that it would definitely be number 1 after Just Can't Get Enough charted at #2.

Just to be picky, 'Chasing Lights' wasn't Platinum at the time 'Work' was promoted/released. It had sold 247,000 in advance of the 'Work' physical coming out. Not a tremendous amount of albums to totally excuse the single's relative under-performance.

I wouldn't call 'Work' a success per se... it just did well in the context of most #22 peaking songs. Even without Michael Jackson's death, it would still have only been #17.

While it's nice that Disco Love has remained sort of stable the last few days, it'll probably still fall about 6 or 7 places officially every week. Just because it does okay on the Friday and Saturday can't make up for the fact that it's fallen eight or nine places since Sunday.

It's been fairly stable after that sudden from on Sunday/Monday. It's been (combined) between 12 and 13 for the most part, and only yesterday dropped down to 15 for a short while before climbing back up.
