October 14, 201311 yr Katy is really falling in percentages. I think they could overtake her and Justin Bieber in a few days (or maybe sooner in Justin's case) and maybe even Lawson by the end of the week.
October 14, 201311 yr I think they could overtake Wilkinson in a few days too, which would put them (if they also overtake Katy and Justin Bieber) back at #6. Then Lawson do always plummet -imagine if they ended the week back at #5? :cheer:
October 14, 201311 yr Don't forget that Eminem has been slowly falling since last Wednesday, too. And their album version of Disco Love has jumped from 744 to 530 in the last hour, I assume it will continue to climb, especially when the iTunes banners kick in. October 14, 201311 yr Not Giving Up now at #284!!! How do people even know about this song? Surely the fans are buying the album?

Surely the fans are buying the album? the album is highlighted on iTunes so maybe from that or people heard the album is out and remember NGU from Chasing The Saturdays? plus i'm sure some of us have played it to friends/family who ended up liking it ;)

October 14, 201311 yr How do people even know about this song? Surely the fans are buying the album? I just cherry picked Not Giving Up and Lease My Love. Call me a bad fan but I already own the four singles and none of the other tracks really interest me.

October 14, 201311 yr Surely you'll be able to complete your album for like £4 now? (non-deluxe) I could, but why spend £4 on songs I know I won't listen to? It would help the girls out, but 1 sale isn't going to change anything and they're alot richer than me.

October 14, 201311 yr Well tbf, many of the songs are growers so you should definitely give them another listen rather than writing them off instantly. True. It's just I'm honestly so skint right now that I'd rather keep whatever money I have. I only bought Lease My Love and Not Giving Up because they were instantly amazing for me. If I somehow get a job soon I'll definitely buy the full album (physical) as it's so far the only one I haven't bought.

I'd definitely recommend buying it when you're able to though, at first I was happy with it but it wasn't anywhere near their best, and whilst OYR is still my favourite, this is growing with each listen.
October 14, 201311 yr Physicals are much higher for album sales, yes. iTunes doesn't mean much when it comes to albums but it's still an indicator. I wouldn't say this is the case actually. When Haim reached #1, 49% of their sales were digital / 51% were physical. Meanwhile, Justin at #2 came from 54% digital & 46% physical. So the importance of digital sales shouldn't be underestimated in the album chart anymore. It could make all the difference as to where they end up charting!
